Should have gotten this first go but blew the top after the hard part. Soft compared to other 24s around. #2ndgo

One of my top 5 climbs at the bay. Such a fun sequence, managed to brush the crux holds on the send via gracious stemming. #2ndgo

Repeat. Putting the draws on for friends.

Enjoyed the climbing above 1st bolt more than the boulder problem. Done it now so don't have to do it again.

Used Kiera's beta after she saw me struggle with the more powerful way. Holds are still as sharp as last year. Going out left is more technical whereas going right is more power, your choice

Slab is fun

Changed my foot beta for the top transition and it made the world of a difference. Probably the easiest of climbs graded 24 at Maungarei Springs, but a good 24 at that.

I might have injured my finger going for the onsight off the first ledge after the crux.

After two weeks of hiding indoors from the rain finally got this one. First go of the day

Misread the upper headwall sequence. Shoulders were useful for this.

What a good route. Technical moves on small but good holds leads to a brilliant top sequence. #2ndgo

Nice fun route. A solid 24. Need to see how the link up into Jabba the Hutt goes

Managed to get a send using the adrenaline I had left over from dislodging a fridge sized block by stepping on it by accident. Cruisy once you know what to do, but probably soft for the grade. #2ndgo

Difficult without the beta, but with good beta (which I think I had) it felt like it was more on the 23 side than 24 compared to other climbs at k bay.

Hand jam for the win. Solid 24, however, I need to come back to do the direct way to the anchor rather than scrambling over the top.

Worked out the sequence I wanted and foot movements. Also worked out the top crux on the face as going left is "cheating". Kind of agree as it makes it a solid 24 as the crux is at the top

Last go of the day, more so just to check this out. Heaps of variety with the movement and so long

Couldn't figure out the roof. Made for a tough warm up

Boils down to two hard moves on razor crimps. Couldn't quite figure it out before we had to leave. Need to come back for this

Fell on the dead point. Was greasy due to sun. Can easily get it.

Interesting sequences. Got just past thrmird bolt and fell on the onsight. Felt sore after so didn't try again.

The combination of sharp crimps and high humidity from Auckland resulted in destroyed skin beyond belief. Almost got the climb though, next time
