Very classy route. Surely someone can do it without Batman start. Second go got through the bouldery start and mucked up the head wall despite feeling fresh enough. Used pockets to the left at the start which were full of cobwebs

Finally regained some energy after shade hit this wall, though we wasted a lot of time figuring out how to get to the start with the “guide” book.

Would feel really sketchy to me on lead, getting used to the amazing friction again

Ok, you wouldn't want to come off the 10a pitch. The last pitch at 10 c was much better, which I led

Maybe I am upset about falling off a 10 c, but badly bolted and major run out at slippery crux with ledges and crap rock

At least it's not a retro bolt. Ledgy.

Dave had done first roof but I got to onsight scary second roof.

Didn't like the bolting, didn't like the rock quality

A pumpy warm up

The 40m pitch one only. Microcams handy . Pretty thin fingers, but fortunately quite slabby

Tied off chicken heads and a historic bolt. Easy but run out

Didn't like bolts on this one, circa 94 and widely spaced

Cold, windy and jet lagged.

Would be nice with a bit of traffic. Needs a #4 and 5 up top, which were in the car.

Seems to have 2 second pitches, linked first into right finish. Last bolt 29m from ground

Second pitch clean, after placing second draw as reachy out of cave. First pitch very sandy. Deserves way more traffic

Not as bad as it looks. A good beginners area

Didnt have any cams. Very stout for grade, but actually nice technical moves. Could easily add 2 grades

Did this 4 years ago, 2nd shot. Thought it was the 22, so it felt a bit hard on micro crimps

Great, though rather spaced bolts.

Draws on, start hold seems to be on ground, but still not the hardest move. Dave got attacked by crow.

One rest second go, but still found the traverse move on the bulge tricky

These grades seem quite sandbagged. Not as sustained as badfinger

Drawing up ring of fire, not that it helped me. This climbs ok

Intermittent showers

Did the crux and succumbed to a reach issue that essentially had a dyno for me on the second attempt. Marvellous climbing, very varied.

Ok, with nice but runout moves up a massive hollow flake to anchors

One hard move with out good reach, had to use some rather sloppy intermediates.

First pitch only as warm up

Amazing series of pockets up blunt overhanging arete

Not sure if this was the route, but in the middle oft he 7a+section. Interesting slab then rising traverse right on overhung wall. Starts just left of boulder pile at highest part of wall

Steep little wall and a good kneebar

Interesting up seam and pumpy overt he bulge

Think this is the new finish to the start of B Jam. A 4 snake climb!!

Some good stemming

Tricky at start and some slopers on a hot day

Rather bouldery start took several- 5- goes to sort, then some slopers up high

Hasd done it before. Some nice incuts.

Fun for kids

While in the area fresh I finally ticked this pumpy arete

Kids enjoyed it

Needs a bolt at the start or put long sling on #4 cam at break

Interesting features

Oops, got lost in all the traversing

Would fit in well at Shipley slabs if it had more bolts

the finger crack was OK. The chips are not. The bolts???

I thought it was samnivel at first!
