Ascents in Stanwell Tops by Zac Schofield

Some broken holds and lots of sand definitely make the first section a bouldery 23 (atleast for now). Didn’t mess with the top slab but I don’t believe it adds much in the way of difficulty

Really liked the start

Found some super chill cute bees up the top which was pretty cool

Had most of the gear in already

needed a lot of cleaning but the moves were really fun

awesome climb on gear

followed the crack up right had a spicy fall clipping the anchors

Exciting warm up

Loved it, brought up way to much gear, but managed to use most of it, just spent to much time placing way to much gear because i was enjoying it to much and had to drop some weight. pumped out on the last move. note for others you definitely don't need a quadruple set of cams plus nuts, you can get away with like 5 pieces haha

Weirdest belay setup i could've come up with, rope was stuck so had belayer hanging on the rope while i used a solo top rope setup to belay myself up the rope. Made the whole experience more exciting.

Loved the start, I didn’t really try to find a sequence but the upper crux seems horrifically thin and I would think harder than 22

Wasted a lot of energy trying to work out the crux instead of just commiting to it

Climbed with one climbing shoe and one normal shoe. Definitely wasn’t a smart move but definitely an enjoyable, quality climb

Sorta used the crack to the left a bit then went right to the iffy crack bit

Went a bit to the right at the top

The fling was fun, just was to tired to climb it clean
