Pretty good, but I was so tired I did not climb this very well and almost dropped it at the top — didn't see the hold on the left!

Stoked with this route, an easy and super pleasant start, and a committing and delicate crux in the middle. I think this is my highest onsight!

Coisa linda! Technical but not so strenuous, loved it. Also well worth starting from the bottom, straight up, via the cool little small crack to the right of the waterfall. I did put a small cam in there though...

Bloody nails!!! It would have been easier if I had better technique I guess, but I was absolutely desperate. Felt like my hardest onsight ever!!

Gundula's first climb at Point Perp. I should have chosen something a bit easier for us to warm up on Amazing climb though, but it's more like a mixed route if you start low enough. Pumpy at the end, but not that technical. Maybe soft for 21? I agree with the book's grade — 20.

I think this is a pretty cool climb, just super technical! I've been looking at it for a long time and being too scared to try it, but I think today I might have got my first 21 onsight! I'll come back to do that 17 route on top of it!

Wow, I loved this, I think it's a little gem in MQ. Just make SURE you have medium and small cams and that you comfortably climb this grade — there is a scary run out between the first bolt and the cam placements, but easy climbing there. Then scary run out after the slab, but safe I think. In terms of moves, the climb packs a variety of fun stuff, with hard slab where you are really climbing on friction to get through the crux — Mt Cuthbert feelings!! This should be a mixed route though, not sport...

This is not bad, but I will not warm up on it — quite pumpy! Feels stiff for grade.

That's probably a better warm up for me than Peregrine!

Really enjoyed this, and had no problem with the top bit. But how does one avoid going into the cave like a skink? I find it a bit contrived to try to stay out of the cave, but maybe that's what less scared climbers do? Oh, that anchor needs rebolting too!!!

The reason we came here, and it didn't disappoint. So stoked to onsight this. Exposed, and I think a proper 21 in the second pitch.

This is fantastic, crimpy as hell! It was our "warm up" cause we got to the crag late (bloody frenchies partying all night in the campsite) and wanted to do a hard climb before the sun hit the wall!

Couldn't resist another short sport route on the way back to the car after Mr Big on our 'rest day'. Was stoked to onsight a 22 after the multi, but here it's 21 — moves felt a bit hard off the ground, but I guess you only have very few of these in a very short climb, so 21 makes sense. Like a boulder problem.

Quite a nice climb — jumped on it to help me clean the 3 draws I had put on the 24 on the left after I bailed on that one...

Probably the best grade 21 I ever did, sensational. My type of route — crimpy and almost perfectly vertical. It's sustained cause it goes on forever, so you must know how to rest on crimps. But the wall is beautiful, the exposure sensational. And hell it was windy! Best 21 ever for me, enough said!!

Very good! Crazy high first bolt, but easier than it looks till there. Then it gets a bit thin and reachy.

This was sublime. It felt a bit spicy as I was in a hurry not to finish in the dark. Hugh had to finish it in the dark though, sorry mate A couple of runouts to keep you on your toes and a fantastic long technical arete. Absolutely loved it!

Hum, not sure I stayed left enough in the first two slabs now that I read the description. I tried, but it's really contrived on that point, I kept feeling I was between this route and Penthouse. Really loved the end of this climb, using that cool crack that goes left of the anchors!! Will maybe come back on another occasion and try to stay as left as possible before the 3rd bolt.

This is such a gem, I loved it. Guide book said 22, so I'm a bit sad to see 21 here — thought I was getting stronger, but we all know I don't get stronger. Makes sense in hindsight — fair grade.

What a route, absolutely loved it. Perhaps a tad soft for a 21? It's better than it looks, less scary than it looks too! A bit easier than Mr Orange nearby!

Fantastic climb! Difficult start, and then glorious arete. The anchor bolts are a bit far apart vertically, and there's another 4m of climbing after them, so it's easy to keep climbing to the top and think there's no anchor! Be aware!

A tad easier than Fading Light, but this time I saw Stu and then Hugh try before my first go. Really nice though, I'm more likely to jump back on this than Fading Light... definitely easier for me than that one.

Got ALL of the beta from my mates and it made all the difference. Easier than sunfish WITH that beta, but i can't imagine figuring that beta out myself. Would be bloody hard to onsight. Awesome awesome line though, keen to get back on it.

Awesome climb, that traverse at the top must be the highlight. Stoked that I flashed this after Chris took a fall — I gotta enjoy these rare moments before he is fully recovered from his accident

gotta keep the ethical high standards — I saw someone on it from some distance earlier in the day and draws were up, so a hard earned flash. So short, and yet felt hard at the top. Maybe this is this crag's peregrine, the perfect warm up Will be good to stop climbing around the horn...

harder todaym feeling pumped at the end, but got the redpoint this time!

Still a classic. The fallen block took a little bit away from it, but sill one of the best climbs in Perth for sure, and the difficulty is just a little bit less now I think. Crux unaffected. Also happy to see that my old and fat current self can still climb this, kind of surprised to be honest.

I love the slab at the start, delicate and a work of faith. This route is another good mix of slab, one mantle, and climbing on a flake to finish. Committing move at the end to the anchor. Red pointing is mentally hard due to the second bolt (need hangers). I can place all other draws/hangers, but scared of that one... Got it second go after working the start a lot in the first go...

Very nice, a mental challenge to get out of the rest cave on top onto the final moves on the roof. I couldn't have onsighted this on the same day that I got my first grade 20 onsight, could I? Lost the onsight while staring at the anchors at eye level, a bit heart breaking... Soft for 21 really, if this is 21 then Constructive Vandalism has to be a 22! Maybe the mental challenge of tackling the roof on top is what gives this one its grade...

Better than I thought, and a bit harder than I expected, but only for a couple of moves. Still, it only went third go cause I watched Hugh solve the puzzle — on the first dog I went way too left...

Hard move at the top, as it's so tempting to shove your right hand in the corner for a hand jam (which I did in one of the attempts). In my last attempt I managed without the corner, which is contrived, but worth it for the challenge. Beta from Em made it possible!

This is pretty good, got it on second go. But in the first try I was terrified to clip the third bolt!

Yes yes yes, finally! I really like this route, it's after the long move (that you think is the crux) that things get delicate and interesting. Love the whole second half of this, definitely the best climb in this quarry, and one of the best 21s in Perth.

What a climb, it gives you the full Wilyabrup experience. I couldn't wait to tick this. Now I can't wait to try the redpoint!! The final two meters are the icing on the cake.

bare feet ascent for something different! I think my climbing shoes are so old and shit that I almost didn't feel the difference...

This is absolutely sensational. Maybe 3 or 4 falls in the first try, and then I sent it on the second proper try. I didn't have to take the first couple of falls, but I reckon the delicate top would have always got me on the onsight attempt... What a beautiful route, well worth doing the first moves (without aiding), piecing the middle sections together calmly (plenty of rests, especially a no hands rest in the middle), and then challenging your mind to keep calm on the moves to the anchor!!

Fell on the onsight for trying something stupid — I need to improve my route reading! I thought this was a bit difficult for a 21!

Finally got it, very sustained, and the rests are not that great, I just kept staying too long on them and getting pumped. Moving quicker worked for me!

Not a bad warm up — using OCD to get its second bolt clipped, then coming down and climbing the RHS variant!

Again, I feel like some important holds broke here, otherwise the clipping is very committing and it feels hard for the grade. Second best climb here though - thanks Jorge for figuring out the crux!

Sam showed me how to be short and do that first move. I almost almost almost got it. But also almost lost some nails on the attempts and couldn't stick the move... Next time!

Holy shit, I need to try that first move again after I lose a couple of Kgs...
