Ascents as boulder by Dominik

Nice moves on the first half, but was a bit too afraid to try for the top.

Let's say, I touched the holds - and realized that this is still way out of my league.

Technical route. Once you have dialled all the small nuances it goes down smoothly.

First move is hard, then easy to the top

First send of the day - yay!

Tried a few times with the "wrong" beta. Gave one good attempt with the "right" beta, but failed one the mantle.

Felt quite hard at the grade. Maybe I was missing the right sequence.

Quite easy on the lower half, a bit sketchy on top. Top was also a bit dirty.

Tried a bit half-heartedly, but couldn't figure out how the sequence goes.

Three attempts on the throw with the right hand. Upper part fairly easy.

This one came together after a lot of small beta improvements.

First one in the grade. So, probably (very?) soft.

Beta: For the start, right foot out really far to the right onto the protruding nob. That makes reaching for the polished sidepull a lot more achievable.

One hard start move, then gradually easier

Don't understand this route. Topped out up and right - it feels like the logical line. But then it's not really a proper topout, more like escaping.

Started by using the underclings and standing up on them. Couldn't get it to work from the big chalked ledge.

Since I couldn't do the start, I used easier start holds:

Left hand on the small edge above the left undercling. Right hand with two fingers in the deep pocket just above the undercling. Like this the route is more homegenous in the grade. Would say around 6A+ / 6Bish like this.

On the flash attempt the boulder police claimed I had touched the tree. So I did it a second time using a different foothold.

Using the monodedo. Not nice, but it worked.

In sneakers. Don't bother coming to the peak for this one. The rock quality is quite crappy. The views of the Serra Calderona are nice, though.

Started from the lowest ledge, then the Crashpad doesn't fit underneath anymore.

Not sure I did this Boulder as intended. Seems a bit defined. For sure you are not supposed to step right when topping out as this evades all the difficulty
