Ascents by Dominik having Distinct route

A bit tricky at the bottom. But once you're on the climb it's alright. Enjoyable at the top.

Very good climb. Both entertaining and challenging throughout.

Good route. But spicey

Gets easier as you get higher. Definitely felt hard for the grade. You notice that this route has been climbed often. #hard

Nice corner with a tricky section. Pumpy for a warm-up climb (for me)

Pulling on the big holds in the overhang is fun. But the difficulty considerably eases thereafter. I wonder if a more direct line from the second bolt would have kept it a bit more interesting.

Good climb, unfortunately short. Easier than Ovejo virgen next to it.

Hard move to get to the anchor. Maybe "6a+ hard"...?

All the difficulty is in the lower section. Very relaxed climb as you go higher.

Start a bit difficult with no real feet. Rest quite easy.

Interesting when you get to the top of the arete and can step out.

There's always a good ledge that you can grab or stand on. Whenever you think you might have to climb actually, you can just reach up and there's the ledge already.

The top section feels a bit pointless. The last draw is placed quite low. I guess you'd easily fall on the ledge if you fell when clipping the chains.

has some committing moves. Not the easy warmup I was looking for.

Great day at Barranc Fondo today. We had the entire place for us alone - and that on a Saturday.

The route is a good warm-up. I realized just in time that I had started up the 6b+ on the right.

Too close to vegetation.

Quite easy - until it's not for a short section.

Gentle and easy-going start. Higher up the feet disappear and you need to go for friction.

First climb of the day. The holds are as good as they look. Above the overhang an easy slab without any interest.

First move to get established on the route is a bit hard. Used a small crimp that made it feel hard. Maybe there is an easier method?

Becomes significantly easier once you are past this.

Thought this would be an easy warmup climb. But the corner made me sweat a little.

Some bolts looked recently replaced, some looked quite old.

Needs a bit more cleaning, but good!

Felt awkward climbing the ramp on this very compact rock with not many holds.

Then, when it gets steeper, I had the impression that the sudden pockets were surprisingly deep and smooth - chipped?

Looks easy from below. Then you think, oh, this might be harder than I thought. But then you find the holds and realize it's not as bad.... 6a

There was not much magnesia on the route and I found this quite hard to read. The movements are really nice and I'm quite happy we did the route.

While climbing the 5 on the left, Agus kicked down the big loose block which sat below the overhang. While I don't think it makes a difference for the grade of the route, I do think it deserves 6a+.
