Ascents in Ti Point by Sergey Komarov

Hard start for a 14! I'd put what we did around 18, so we must have been off route somehow.

Not in a good headspace when I did this. Maybe the sun and approach?

Tried to do the crux of CJD Arete but had to take. This was silly for at least two reasons: I've flashed CJD Arete and repeated it cleanly multiple times, and I was supposed to go to the wide Diablo crack. Ended up going into the wide crack from the jugs below the second bolt. The offwidth crack was fun and super secure. Placed #2 Camalot and #7 Rockcentric where it narrows.

Put in an absurd amount of protection (8 pieces?) just to practice.

Possibly my smoothest accent yet! Only felt around for the jug briefly.

Cleanest accent yet. Went straight through the crux without faffing.

Clipped first bolt of suicide wall to avoid plunging into the abyss to the left by falling before first placement.

Purple friend, green friend, red camalot, green rockcentric. Run out at the top.

First outdoor climb since tearing MCL. Everything felt really good today!

Why did I struggle so much with this a couple years ago?

Definitely a one move wonder. Ended up dynoimg.

Top roped to clean and check crack for 'Queen of Hearts'. Looks like rockcentric 7-9 will fit.

First 23. Went surprisingly easily on the first go of the day.

Had an almost-keenbar to clip the third bolt.

Lead clean to the 4th bolt, then couldn't transition to other face.

Clean and easy now that I knew where to look

Top rope aid to the first tree to practice nut placements. Then finished on 'Suicide Wall'

Faffed around for far too long looking for that hidden jug. Eventually stood on a cordelette to find it.

First 22.

Had two people talk me through the moves. Heel hook beta for the 3rd bolt was fantastic. Put the draws up myself.

Second pitch of linkup with 'Birds Can't fly on One Wing'.

Linkup with suicide wall

Gulls were not happy I was up there.

Rappelled down through the chimney after.

The hidden jug really is hidden.
