Ascents in Frog Buttress by Patrick Munnings

climbed on Hannah's gear to clean it. getting pretty good at this route after 10 laps this trip and about the same last trip.

Awesome route! quality the whole way.

Went pretty quickly, stick clipped to the top, then had a toprope in full sun and nearly died. Revived myself with some water and a long sit under the trees reading my book. Got back on and sent first lead attempt at sunset on still brutally hot rock.

Thought this was an onsight but I already did that hahaha

Had an onsight go that ended quickly. Then toprpoed the crux section and sent to the top. Then came down and lead it from the ground. Somewhat shakily

Sat at about 3/4 height after doing the hard work but getting very pumped on a crimp placing gear. Found plenty of good stuff and used all of my rps and micro nuts. Some great moves and some less than great rock. Glad I gave in an onsight attempt.

Seriously great route. Rock quality is sublime. Made me smile at least as much as plume and challenges it for best 18 at frog.

Start corner felt like the crux. The rest just kind of happened by keeping on chugging. Felt good but was so hot and sweaty.

Tough to read. Amazing variety.

Felt really close. Fell on the first move but then did the rest to the top. Then second go on toprope did it clean with a terribly high step.

Super cool. A real adventure

Climbed purely the ringlock crack between HDZ and this at about grade 20 to avoid the wet cracks. Turned out to be some of the best ring lock moves at frog.

This route saw the worst fall of my life and a subsequent concussion last year. Great to tick it next go a year later. I was fairly scared.

An absolute better of a climb. Moves feel amazing and very heady one dog lap and did all the moves quickly. One for next trip

Still the best climb I've ever been on.

The final roof and finger crack was wet and very hard so I finished by bouldering to the 25 on the right arete and running it out to the anchor. Fun time

So close to onsighting. Climbed past the crux but at night with a terrible head torch was misled by some chalk next to a huge foothold. Stood on the tiny chip with the chalk which broke when I moved off it. Would have been a non event in daylight. After using the right foothold climbed clean to the chains.

Great style. No hard moves but took a lot of thought

My most proud ascent yet. This was a fight to the death with what felt like equal progress down to up for a good 15 mins. Probably in the top 3 lines at frog!

First sit start ascent. Calling the varient Shorter Order 20/V4

Possibly the best climb in Australia. Got to the bottom and wanted to go again. Easily the longest orgasm of my life.

Great adventure style climb. Awesome long pitch.

TR about 3 moves to unlock. Quite enjoyable

Took the biggest whip of my life from the piton. Rope caught between my legs and flipped upside down. Fun.
