Ascents by Lee Cujes having Distinct route

I'm surprised there's not more prangs on this. The layback is pretty slip-off-able and big cams aren't always the best things in the world. Having a couple of #4 camalots for the flake would be prudent rather than relying on one.

Steep moves on good holds. I really liked this. (21/5/03 - TR in walking boots)

The crack is smooth and challenging. Would be good if it was much longer.

Balancy and a bit thrilling

I think I'm going better by considering every route at Frog to be the same level of difficulty.

Deserves two stars

Quite a good climb, if lacking in pro. Take cams for the semi-hanging belay, fixed pro is about to become fish food.

Located on the walk up.

A roof crack at 16 - more full value.

New bolts are a bit of a stretch, but at least they won't fall out.

Really very very good. Sustained.

Old school, but steep. Varied. Something someone who climbs at Frog would love. Mark soloed this.

15m (15) Bouldery moves off the deck to good holds. Trend R up obvious corner/weakness. Easily negotiate shrubbery to arrive at large triangle ledge. Shared rap station on R end of ledge. The two FH's leading up from here are for The Sword In The Stone's second pitch (24).1) 25m (17) Continue up corner 3m, step L into next corner and up for 4m. Step L out of corner and climb over short steep bit (crux). Walk easily up slab to find rap station underneath large roof. 30m rap to Clemency Terrace.

Guiding Kym < 2hrs - pitches 7-11 of the day..

Very cool handcrack flake, but I only had one handcrack-sized cam. Channel the inner Honnold.

Very wide crack (#5 camalot) to protruding roof. Step R under roof into enclave. Two finishes are possible. The L one (roof/chimney) is 21 and very funky, the R one (chimney/crack) is 14.

6 years on, finally re-climbed this. Phil seconded in bare feet. (July 1997 - Had to be rescued from out of the V groove.)

A bit scary in parts, but overall a solid, excellent outing. Easily comprable to Lancelot or Clemency. I led pitch 1 and 2. Phil led pitch 3.

Fourth climb ever. In walking boots.

The route is improved by at 1/3 height, stepping L from the corner onto the face with the layoff-flake. I also climbed the direct finish up the corner which was a tricky mantle at about 21 (rather than going up the crack to the right).
