First of the grade on gear; was close to ticking on third red-point tie in but ended up taking 6 red-point attempts in total.

Beta spoiler alert: The drop knee, toe-hand match beta during the peak of the runout might just be my favourite single climbing move! 😍

1 top rope lap + 2 tie ins. Even after 6 days on felt really good on the send. Thanks for the belay and encouragement TiniestFury and hipyhop

Gave it a rager of a flash attempt.

Built a nest and then did 7/8 false starts into the first crux over 20 mins (guess my endurance is not too shabby) before committing to Gaston/compression beta. Came off just shy of the jug and took an absolute screamer of a whip!

Holy cow this route is sooooo good. Think it’d go if I had the time to work it on toppy as I’m definitely Frog fit.

Very, very doable on gear. Gave it a good onsight attempt but misread getting into the roof crack, took a wrong turn and came off the sandy jugs.

Was closer second shot but relaxed a little too much and popped out of a thin hands paddle jam mid crux.

Beta sorted, gear sorted and crux moves all linked. The rain and time constraints cancelled any further attempts.

Found some very specific jamming beta that eliminated most of the technical laybacking… thank you Wild One for your flared jamming lessons!

I had a spare day over the Easter weekend after the crew disbanded so decided to do some recon on dream projects. Having seen pictures of Disbelief Cave pop up over the years, I knew I had to see Disbelief and Beyond Belief in person.

Hooooly... But pictures simply do not do this place justice! As a self-identified crack climber, this is, for me personally, probably the single most inspiring line I've seen. Mind absolutely blown, Disbelief/Beyond Belief are the perfect names. Can't wait for the day to get the chance to tie in for this.
