Ascents by Geoff Cooper having Distinct route

A few moves are beyond grade 16, but overall a good climb

Technical hardish crux through the middle of the headwall

Felt quite stiff, probably due to some of the holds becoming a little worn

Would be a nice climb if the first bolt hadn't been chopped

Crimpy in the early section, more like an 18. But well protected and a good fun climb for 45 metres or so

Cruisy

Probably the best route at the crag

Tricky traverse then quite easy up the arete

Very slabby

Quite pumpy

Tricky route finding as the easier pathway has one separate bolt from the harder route next door. Need to traverse back to clip next bolts

Chimney is quite good. Easy to move up inch by inch. Crux was moving out around to the face

Interesting route. Started in the corner and after a heady traverse right found the cuddly tree

Second pitch is mentally tough with very few holds. Needs some more cleaning to make this more enjoyable. First and third pitches are good

Tricky start with mantle but quite nice - particularly at the top. Good pockets (the ones without spider webs) to lower offs. Be aware of the potential for holds breaking on the right side of the rooflet

Good problem solving on this route. Started left, traversed right, then back to the left for the layback on small flake.

Best to cut & paste 2 quickdraws from the start of the roof to avoid rope drag

Fun climbing and good practice for multi-pitch climbing and multi-pitch abseiling also. Rock is reasonable although you need to be cautious in places. Mantling and rock-overs throughout with at least 2 short sections of crack jamming. Bolting is great for protecting the exposed sections

Snappy holds (I broke off at least 6 of them). Lower offs are placed a bit high so expect rope drag if top roping

Seems like a few holds were broken around the crux leaving nothing for the feet. Once the flake is trundled, the whole route will be perfect at the grade of 20

High first bolt. 2 cams in breaks and 3 bolts

Placed gear on abseil first. Would be a sketchy lead placing gear in the top half

In approach shoes (not advisable)
