Ascents by Geoff Cooper having Distinct route

Challenging climbing. Beta not difficult but avoiding rope drag and potential ground/ledge fall in the travese was the main obstacle. Nice flake at the top for hand jams and small cams

First pitch - the bolt is out to the right off the block. Once clipped, traverse along with either small cams, or a number 4 and number 5. Quite easy but this route favours taller climbers.

Second pitch - started following another party but incorrectly went up the left wall. Don't do this. From the first bolt, pull onto left wall and go up only around 2 metres then back to the right-hand wall. Follow the line of carrots diagonally right and up. Not much pro needed as there are plenty of bolts.

Third pitch - from the 2 carrots on the left, keep traversing around. The next bolt is super close and easy to clip before heading scarily out onto the overhang. Fortunately the climbing is quite easy and this pitch also is mostly sport bolted. Belayed off tree (10 metres back) and the single bolt near the lip.

Very nice climbing with brief crux at thin crack. Used doubles from #0.3 to #0.75 and a few larger cams for the start and end. Good route for practicing placements using a lot of small cams and nuts

Hyper-grovel. Less skin now. Nice route

Hard start, and poorly protected second half. No anchors or lower offs

Good gear and reasonable climbing. The odd hand jam but also some faceholds for feet. Carrot belay at top

Short climb. Cams in breaks and used a sling on the horn at the top - although it hardly seemed worth it. Carrot belay at top

Not too bad, but short. Crux is the start, but good gear and jamming to the top and step left to new lower offs

Used pre-placed gear. Good trad climb with nice placements in crack. Runout across ledge and to the left to use lower offs from Foundlings

First time leading this on gear. Great climb to practice placements

Quite nice on lead. Still a bit spicy through the latter part of the traverse and up to the first bolt.

Fairly ordinary climbing with a stiff crux at the blank slab. Best to deeply fist jam the wide crack and do something magical with the feet as foot jamming is not likely

Very hard start but gets nicer once you make the first break

Start in the cave then out to the left side of wall using horizontals for pro. Then stem across wide crack and layback up using face holds. Good gear above tree in left crack

In sandles

ok to about two thirds height. Didn't know the way and the fused seams were uninviting so bailed

Pro is quite bad on this route. Found the climbing quite tricky through the bolted area

Hard start and hung on a cam to place a higher piece to protect a ground fall. Once out of the cave there are a lot of excellent face holds
