Ascents by Geoff Cooper having Distinct route

Linked P1 and P2. P3 crack requires a few cams

Used both carrots and then traversed back to lower offs on Cartoon Physics. More like a variant rather than a distinct route on its own

Excellent climbing on good gear. Jamming not mandatory as there are plenty of face holds and jugs

Trended left after first bolt to find some small offset nut placements. Then up the arete

Loved this route. Face holds, jamming, stemming and laybacks. Used double rack to #4 and a #6 was also helpful plus a few hexes.

Good climbing and good pro but slopey top out

Led P1 and P4. P1 was actually not bad even with a few bushes. Start of P2 was highly risky on lead as the flake is flexing a lot and can't hold a wire. Punchy start and awful blocks to land on. Rusty piton and #0.5 in a pocket further left in the roof is the only pro. P3 start was quite punchy and hard to place gear but it worked (#0.3, #0.4 and #0.75). P4 was awkward in a way but not too bad.

I would say the grade is a little higher given the 2 cruxes and the level of risk. Some blocks/holds are not easy to trust.

Really awesome climb. Easy to protect and a lot of super nice holds

Left to first bolt then back to corner under roof. Runout on easy ground with very little pro

Not the best climbing. Easy to protect first half through crux, then 10metre runout with no pro to lower offs

A one move wonder with a layback. Used a number 4 and 5 cam to protect the wide crack. Belay at large gum tree up the hill (don't trust the Banksia)

Wouldn't be keen to repeat. Not much pro apart from 3 bolts. 2 pockets for a #0.5 above the first bolt and a #1 well above the third bolt - after an exciting move or two. Couldn't find anything else

Gear is quite good through the ascending right traverse onto the block. Airy move up to the final crack with well protected hand jamming to the top

That's the 1,000th ascent for me. Good lead except for the location of the first bolt. Some tricky moves but all fine and especially the well protected top section

Approach shoes

Very short laybacking section on P2 and early in P3. Both are a little tricky and perhaps difficult to place gear whilst in those areas. Did as 2 pitches

Try as I might to avoid stemming, the crack was too wide for feet and at the top became dirty and grimey. Took a little fall on the green cam then finally reached the overhanging boulder on top for a forgettable ascent
