Ascents by Patrick Munnings having Distinct route

Tried hard. Maybe the low end of 26 but pretty stoked!

One of the sunny side's best sport routes. Sustained and powerful with some outrageous moves. 3 attempts

Sweet moves and some very hard to use holds. Originally given 27. It feels harder than all of the 26s in the gorge.

Felt really hard until I did it right. And then it felt nice

The kachoong of the south esk, only not as good or easy or trad.

Sent for the first time as part of working the extension. 3rd go.

Bad beta but got the tick. Fixed the missing bolt and the loweroffs as well.

Fun all the way. Maybe easier than unrequited

I find this style of climbing bloody tricky, but this route takes up prime real-estate on the best looking prow of rock at the crag so gave it a few attempts to get the tick. Really fun moves that force good technique. Wasn't convinced I'd send today. But got it on the last go. I think more time here would be very good for my climbing.

One sit. Pretty amazing holds, begging to be touched

Nails. Didn't manage the crux move. Might be harder if you are taller. Will have to go back and try again.

Crimpy! not good in the hot conditions but all the moves are do-able. Will keep trying as a warm-up project.

Gave it a red hot flash go but used a bad sequence at the crux. Pretty good climb

This route has everything. Steep, slab, pockets, jugs, crimps, good feet, no feet, some bolts, lots of runout. I was very scared for most of my ascent but found a way to the top. Could use one bolt between the 5th and 6th but the rest of the falls are fine. Also the anchor is terrible. The Gonk would really gain a lot by having a couple of well placed U bolt lower offs. What an epic place.

Fell throwing for the last 2 finger pocket on the last attempt. Will hopefully be my warm-up next session. The rock on this section of this wall is amazing!

Climbed through the crux, felt great, was thinking about my writeup on the crag. Was so confident I was about to onsite that I didn't rest at the last bolt. Got mislead by a very chalky hold out to the left but it ended up being terrible and I had committed to it. Tried really hard to hang on but couldn't and fell staring at the anchor. Pulled back on and skipped that hold instead going straight up and it wasn't hard. So disappointed. But happy with how I climbed.

Cool and felt a lot like a trad route but dirty. Sat at most bolts.

Good at the start some moves that definitely feel 27

Another stunning route! So fun. Blew the onsight at the top of the technical layback section. Didn't spend any time working it out and then climbed to the top. Epic!!
