Ascents by Patrick Munnings having Distinct route

Went pretty quickly, stick clipped to the top, then had a toprope in full sun and nearly died. Revived myself with some water and a long sit under the trees reading my book. Got back on and sent first lead attempt at sunset on still brutally hot rock.

Insecure and bouldery but not 28 if you are over 5 and a half feet tall.

Crux sequence is amazing but I found the rest of the easier climbing way harder. Didn't find a rest the whole way after the crux

Took a long time to work out the crux but flexibility ended up being the crux for me. Such a long beautiful climb.

Found the first 3 moves the hardest but is stays on you from there to the top. Reasonably psyched on this if my skin ever grows back

Felt harder than I remember

The initial boulder problem requires more try hard than I expected

crux is heinous the rest was fabulous

SO FUN!! The moves on this are easily the most fun moves I've pulled on a rope, unfortunately my sore fingers, poor technique, and weakness meant I had to stick clip the last two bolts because I couldn't hold holds anymore hahaha. Would go back except the approach is a nightmare that nearly swallowed Hannah whole.

Ruined my first attempt with a big fart at the crux undercling which I thought followed through. Fortunately it didn't. Went to the toilet, had another go and fell higher. My last go was my best attempt but just missed the jug at the end of the crux. At least I left with clean undies.

Final few sequences are brutal slabbing on very small holds. The second last clipping position is nails

Tried at the end of the session. Didn't go well. My arm didn't handle it. Seems fun.

Flashed to the crux after putting draws up. Felt significantly harder than 27 at the crux. I could not pull any of the moves. Pulled through that draw and did the final move to top out. Happy I got on it. Would be happier if it was 28 or 29.
