Ascents by Aidan Sarginson having Trad CPR

Had to fight super hard to get up this. Slab finger crack that just gets steeper and steeper. My proudest trad ascent to date

Fun route. This should just be a sport route using the 3rd bolt of Back to the future instead of placing gear before hand. Will be back for the direct version. The project line out right looks great.

Hard

Fun route. Doesn't add any difficulty compared to Skin Thicker than a Hutt, as you still get a good rest. It would have made more sense to start with Dom Jabbar starts. #1stgo Need to try the right exit now.

No knee bar beta - hand in the big slot in the back of the block and compression moves all the way until you can work your feet up. On similar levels of Carpe Diem for crux move (still one move wonder territory), but more power and sustained. 22/23?

Would not have onsighted this at the start of the trip. Fingers corner into arete pulling followed by steep hand/fist crack, what a line.

I accidentally thought this was a sports route and didn't bring any trad gear. It turned into ~6m runouts between bolts, so I switched to no-fall mode. Still a good climb

An amazing route with such varied climbing. Almost onsighted it but had one fall on the crux pitch as I didn't push myself far enough into the chimney. Happy with this tick and thanks Blair for taking me out

The first pro (piton) is quite high. Make sure to have belayer spotting

Traversing slab climbing into fist crack, but not my fist size..

For a group of 3 we took 8 hours to get to the top and 3 hours of Rapping.

Can be climbed and rapped on an unchopped 60m rope, but a 70m will make your life easier.

Led only the third crux pitch by using Werk Supp as an approach. Great leaning finger crack.

Fun first pitch led to a scary pull through a large roof. Glad there was a piton to back up the RP placement.

The extension to Twin Cracks. Quite sport climbing in terms of movement along the flake with large gear

This climb makes me want to have smearing shoes. Good rock quality (besides the hollow sounding flake) with moves that require some thought.

Was not prepared for this as the warm up climb. Tried very hard at the bottom

Very funky climbing with heaps of different options. Had to downclimb some sections to figure out the sequence.

Hand/fist cracks > finger cracks

Tough crux section. Had to trust the ring lock

Face variation. Using the left wall to stem seems 19/20 (especially if you're tall). Great climb going either way.

Repeat

Subjected Gareth and John to this route. Lots of hauling on blocks that look loose and are quite solid (at the moment). Technical crux around the bolt (which is the last good piece of protection) before a lichen top out. Do not touch the orange rock out left near the top if you wish to not bomb your belayer.

Quite possibly the 2nd/3rd ascent of the route. Some good climbing amongst the choss. Suffering occurred and it was witnessed. At least grade 18 probably 19. Bold lead.

Bomber gear the whole way up the crack with great stances. Good spot to take photos of people climbing Kafunkafunkafunkapteschew!.

Jumped on this with encouragement from John. Started up DHMK clipping a 240 sling to the anchor before traversing across the ledge. Little airy getting into the crack proper before great jamming up high.

Would be two stars if the top out wasn't as bad plus the sand ledge traverse. Do not go up this if people are below on Predator Pinnacle as the likelihood of dropping bombs is probable.

Cupped hands corner crack with good feet. Made for a stiff warm up

Great gear, actual cracks, exposure and a good partner. Nothing more you could ask for

Almost got the onsight but missed the side pull undercling. Jug overhang is not my thing..
