Routes in Yosemite National Park

The short, overhanging thing with bolts. The first route you come too when walking in from the road.

Start on a shoulder height sloper. Go right to the flake and then make a big move straight up (V2 from a high start from the flake).

Start with a low sidepull and undercling. Climb straight up the arete.

Sit start at the right end of the fin. Traverse the lip around to the triangular ledge. Mantle to finish.

P1 and P2 only of the Salathé Wall. Pro to 4".

1. 60' (5.10b) Climb the pin-scarred right-leaning crack. Great clean aid practice.

2. Seldom climbed. Rivet and bolt ladder leads to tree with rap rings.

Major rockfall a number of years ago damaged the first two pitches of the route. They now contain a lot of large loose blocks and flakes so be careful. Though the pitches after that are superb, hard and safe. Must have double ropes, preferably 70m to get down.

Layback across, then up.

Climb the obvious perfect hands crack on a face right of a corner. Crack narrows and splits, becoming more of a face climb near the end.
