Refreshing my trad. It’s been awhile. Good day.

Nice day out with Claire. Tree anchor has gone but no new anchors. Continue up loose cross to MMT anchors.

Starting block has fallen out of the start and new anchors (maybe not new... it’s been a year since I’ve been here)

Hands were bigger than I remembered. Still doesn’t mean I can lead it right now...

Warm up

Take care at the start. The rock is pretty much falling apart. Probably won’t get on this again.

Brown point. my feet couldn’t handle it (wrong shoes?) and possibly maybe my head?? Wow. I got owned. I always remember this as pretty cruisy. Obviously I need to get out to frog more... and maybe new shoes

Warm up. Got pumped. Bloodied my knuckles placing the first piece... such good fun.

An old favorite. Warm down. Pretty hot day so a half day is still doable...

Shorter than I remembered....

X2 to retrieve some pesky gear.

It’s been awhile. A nice cruisy morning getting reacquainted with frog..... warmup.

One of those climbs you repeat and think 'how the hell did I lead this??'. A little bit of puffing in the sun but nice climb.. enjoyable on tr anyway

Nope nope nope. Still don't like it. However.... maybe it's just the wrong shoes?

A nicer climb on second, I think.

Still too hot. 2 shots but I'm still sunburnt and fried from yesterday. Still one or two takes but otherwise all moves are worked out.

Note to self... large grey Camalots are handy.

It's been awhile since I've been on this so felt like an Alzheimer's onsight. In the sun though so sore feet! Took way too much gear thinking the offwidth was wide gear but not so. All small. Still good even though doing it in the sun broke me.

Funky moves but no anchor. We slung a tree with the intent of getting the sling back later from the top...

Was saving this for years for an onsight attempt. I think my 1 frog day a year has ended that. Two laps on tr after we lowered off theory. In the sun but second shot was pretty good. A Possible short project for a cooler day. Better than I thought it would be.
