Really nice face climbing with some pretty cool moves along the seam, pity it’s not longer. It was my second sesh on it and got it I’m definitely not the first one to downgrade routes, but honestly I don’t think it’s 27. There is just one full on crimpy move but otherwise the holds are not bad. I expected crimps from hell at 27. Also, it has some new bolts and chains, so it’s all safe.

Nice access route. The moves are good, however the top section still has some loose rock.

Second sesh on it. The first time I figured out the beta and today it turned that my crucial hold was loose, so the whole sequence went to the bin. After messing around for a while I came up with a solution that was better than the previous one. No cutting loose for me at any point; kneebars work pretty well though Anyway, it was pretty good, although hard to read.

Oh, I was so close to on sighting it... Came off on the last hard move :-( Anyway, It went second go. Really cool start, then easy to a rest, where you can get enough power back for the last sequence.

Great climbing with some hard bits. Got it second go (first run was a warm up :-P).

I enjoyed it a lot, really cool moves; I would give it more stars if it was longer. Pretty happy with a flash.

Omg, I messed up my onsight and came up with some shit beta through the bottom pockets, so I didn’t pull it second or third go. Then I got angry, figured out a new beta and just ticked it.

Quite q different style to what I normally climb, so I looked a bit uncomfortable and made it look hard.

Oh wow! I got Greedy today First go after the warm up. Finally good weather conditions, after working it in the heat and baking sun for weeks.

Completely unexpected send! The plan was to work on Greed but 1. it was in the sun, 2. after coming g off Envy at the top I had to give it one more go. So good! Oh, and it’s my second second ascent.

I got it second go after sorting out the traverse (if only I noticed this low left footer on my flash attempt…) Probably a bit soft for 24 but I’ll give myself this grade as I didn’t use the holds in the corner. 😉

Had two goes on it yesterday and I thought that I would get it after coming back fresh. Instead I came back today completely wrecked and with not much skin on my fingers. Pointless. Maybe one day I will learn to listen to my body.

Chilled climbing.

Pretty good, easy climbing leading to a bit though provoking sequence through crimps (you can stand on the ledge and think about it forever though), then easy again.

Really good climbing but pumpy, I was very happy about getting to the knee bar at the last draw.

Finally I pulled the sequence at the top, third go today, third time/trip on it. The pressure was on, knowing I was allowed just one session on Madge this trip 😜

Pretty cool little route. The face section around the fourth bolt was a bit surprising (awkward clip); I found a frog squat just before that harder bit, which saved me while I was thinking what to do.

I jumped on it last week, felt completely bamboozled at the crux and then got shut down after taking several small but unpleasant falls. I came back for No Mustard today and got it on my first red point attempt. The low traverse is really cool and then you got to pull several hard moves before it gets easy.

Good power-endurance route. I guess it’s 25 (remember that a local crag bias should not influence grading).

Really cool rout with some exciting moves over the draw. Had two burns yesterday evening but blew the crux on the red point attempt. We had to go back and I was left with no epidermis on my fingertips and the feeling of defeat. This morning i taped my digits and decided to go for it; I had to fight with accumulated fatigue (5th day on) and 80% humidity. It was worth it.

Quality climbing for the grade.

Onsight/flash didn’t go as I was slapping blindly in search of reasonable holds at the very bottom.I got it 2nd attempt (flash from the second draw up), having some good beta and a good rest in the break. The top section involved hard pulling and fight with the Pump and fear that I would drop it just before the chains. Really good moves on this one.

You got to trust the guide book when it says that routes at Logan are pumpy. I messed up my onsight at the last draw when the relaxing climbing suddenly turned into desperate search for holds. Went 2nd go.

The first go I looked like you put a figure skater on the rock; I just could not get through the roof and was nowhere close to getting it (roofs are not my favourite you see). Then, I ran through the moves in my head several times, saw my friends ticking it and magically got it second go. Amazing climbing plus some mental game involved. Pleasure to get to the top.

I had a couple of uncertain moments on it but with some beta spraying, unexpectedly, it went the first go. Really good climbing.

Easy climbing to a bit tricky undercling in the cavity. Very nice.

Very wet and muddy at the bottom. Will be nice when/if it gets dry.

O yeah! I’ve just crossed the magic threshold from 7c+ to 8a. The beauty of Top Shelf Material married with an unforgiving finish of Emphysema - stellar! After some regress recently, I finally got it today pretty smoothly 😁.

Easy climbing after a complete muscle destruction yesterday. Not much chalk there yet so looking for holds is part of the fun.

2nd go. There was no chalk above the lip and being utterly destroyed from climbing at Van Demiens’s Land the previous day, I blew my onsight attempt. The move to the second draw was freaking reachy (I’m 175cm tall) and it cost me a lot of energy as well. Beside that I really liked the moves.

I actually enjoyed it. Well, yes, the mantle was not pretty but I guess my beta was not optimal either. The Guardhouse is a very nice little spot. Will be back for the other routes.

It was actually nice after I figured out where to go. It took me a while to decide how to do the crux, which turned out to be pretty easy.

Fantastic climbing, very sustained. I managed to put 4 or 5 draws in before I got insanely pumped and was not able to hang on.

For 18 - stupid.

There were still several wet holds on it and no chalk whatsoever after winter rains. But this are all excuses - I’m just a non-onsighter and this is what I am, don’t judge me. Got it 2nd go. Pretty good moves with long run out at the end (easy though).

Completely unexpected tick on my third go of the day. I slightly changed a sequence through the crux, which was a game changer. Then, before I realised what happened, I was clipping the chains Such a cool and demanding route!

Cool but sharp (tape your fingers if you don’t want to bleed). Can be done in several different ways and it took me two or three runs to realise that the one I was trying was not for me. Pretty short hard section after the 21 fun start leads to a nice finish sequence.

I really enjoyed it! The start warms your whole body up.

Nice movement up pockets, lay backs and some jugs. A good kneebar before the crux let me restore my strengths and pull the hard moves. Still, I was so pumped, I had troubles going through the easy top section. Really good climbing!

Really nice link-up between Winfield Blue and Marlboro Red. Painful knee bar at WB gives your arms a nice rest before powering up into Marlboro. There are some more knee bars, try to find them 😜

With this start and this finish it is not 22 (maybe it was years ago, when it had more side crimps). Putting a draw on the third bolt involved some commitment and this was after loosing skin trying to figure out the start sequence. All this shambles lead to a finish, which you may consider cool, if the route has a proper grade.

Really nice climbing once you figure out how to go through the start to the 3rd bolt. A description saying that you need to step down is a bit misleading, I think.

Not particularly obvious between 2nd and 3rd bolt. Then I messed up the traverse (I think, do you stay low or do you stay high and just walk across?) so I was struggling.
