15 | ★ Sensible Shoes - with Anna | 6m, 2 | Cattlestop Crag | Average | Wed 23rd Dec 2015
Appropriately in approach shoes. Easy. Most guides give it as 14.

15 | ★ Strawberry - with Grant Johnston | 16m, 8 | Motatapu Valley | Average | Tue 5th Feb 2013
Was aiming for Self Directed Learning Tool, placing gear, but took the (somewhat) cleaner exit. Really grubby at the top.

15 | ★ Indecent Exposure | 15m, 7 | Wye Creek | ★ Good | Mon 4th Feb 2013
I think this is the 15 we did.
15 | ★ From the Editor - with Angela Hewlett | 15m, 6 | Kinloch | ★ Good | Fri 2nd Nov 2018
Better than it looks, also a bit harder.
15 | ★ Bite Me Gently | 8m, 3 | Frog Pond | ★ Good | Thu 18th Apr 2019
Ok, not worth 2 stars. Bit of a sun trap this side.
15 | ★ Keep Left - with Gareth Hall | 15m, 10 | Sheridan Hills | Average | Thu 14th Nov 2019
There are actually 10 (!) bolts not 6. Ran out of draws.

15 | ★ Hunny Face | 19m, 7 | Pakeho | ★ Good | Sun 17th Dec 2017
15 | ★ Smurftastic - with Angela Hewlett | 20m, 5 | Kawakawa Bay | ★ Good | Sun 24th Jan 2021
This is pretty good at the grade, a fun move getting out of the overhang.

★★ Mellow Yellow (Mellow Yellow P2-3)
- with
shichang, Angela Hewlett
| 35m, 10 | Kawakawa Bay | Average | Mon 27th Jan 2014 | |||
Multipitch anchor practice. First pitch mossy and damp so snuck up Yellow Submarine instead with no gear, dismantling draws to sling the tree and spikes...
15 16 | ★ Chardonnay Bob (Unknown 2) - with Grant Johnston | 15m, 6 | Hospital Flat | Average | Tue 2nd Feb 2021
Think this is new, not in the 2014 guide. Somebody is being cheap, could use another bolt or 2 at the grade. There is another new route to the right starting on the stepped ledges.
15 | ★★ Under The Moonlight - with Grant Johnston | 16m, 8 | Hospital Flat | Average | Tue 2nd Feb 2021
Draws on. Unmemorable.
15 | ★ Horus - with Grant Johnston | 20m | Sheridan Hills | Average | Sat 20th Feb 2010
A bit grubby
15 | ★ Wrong Way - with Grant Johnston | 6m, 2 | Gorge Road | Average | Wed 3rd Feb 2021
Short evening session at the end of a rest day. Did it the wrong way, straight up the arete until 2nd bolt then right. Draws on.
15 | ★ Hole Thing | 8m, 3 | Pakeho | ★ Good | Wed 31st Oct 2018
Hey yeah, a jam in a hole, the obvious move...
15 | Sitting Duck | 17m, 6 | Pakeho | Average | Wed 31st Oct 2018
The huge detached block is a bit worrying. 15R for the belayer.
15 | ★★ Miromiro - with Gareth | 30m, 13 | Kawakawa Bay | ★ Good | Mon 28th Dec 2020
About time I climbed this. Yup it's 15 not 16, and pretty good but fairly straightforward slab climbing. Had a play on the top of Curious Kiwi on the way down, that seems reasonably solid 19.

15 | Unknown 2 - with Jonno | 20m | Wharepapa Rock | Average | Sat 3rd Jul 2021
Pleasant enough apart from lichen.
15 | ★ Holy Braille - with Jonno Rau | 13m, 3 | Wharepapa Rock | ★ Good | Sun 30th Jul 2023
Think it was this, tucked away behind a pine tree. Not bad.
15 | ★ Oliver's Twist - with Rosie | 12m, 5 | Wharepapa Rock | ★ Good | Tue 19th Sep 2023
Replaced pull cord for this and toprope-only route to left.
15 | ★ Ninja | 18m, 6 | Waipari | Average | Thu 31st Oct 2019
Surely I have done this before? It's ok, not worth a star.
15 | ★ Dead Cow Groove | 15m, 10 | Sheridan Hills | Average | Thu 8th Feb 2018
It seems unlikely that I have never led this. Warmup, belay by Rosie and Ohm.
15 | ★ Al Fresco - with Jonno Rau | 20m, 5 | Waipari | Average | Sat 19th Aug 2023
Warmups until we are warm.
15 | The Nose - with Grant Johnston | 30m, 9 | Kawakawa Bay | Average | Tue 23rd Apr 2019
Easy sport clip-up, not my thing.
15 | ★ Canadian Summer (M5) - with Grant Johnston | 11m, 7 | Maungarei Springs | Don't Bother | Wed 27th Sep 2017
Fell after a handhold came off. 16 might be a bit generous, but then again you need to be very suspicious of many many holds. Park your belayer a long way off. The dry tool route makes use of the rather more solid and much blanker left buttress by the look of all the chipping and scratching.
