Ascents by John Pitcairn having Distinct route

Left the cams on the ground, my funky angled hex in the hole might have held. Quite nice thoughtful climbing for 12 but gear a little tricky in places. Belay by Rosie.

Interesting, good move at half height then only a little actual layback required.

Nothing to write home about, though the overhang crank is fun.

Quite good, interesting all the way, though pro gets a bit sparse approaching the rap anchors. Topped out on right of ledge, uo the crack in the central block to get some gear. P2 looks disgusting. Tempting...

Easier than Necrophiliac, probably harder than 12 though. Good hand and fist jams. Probably 18 or 19 if you don't jam eh Magnus?

Had to dig for gear, you'll want hexes for security. Removed a head size chunk up top that was all set to kill somebody.

Don't expect much pro up the first slab start. Passed at the beginning of pitch 3 by a French soloist. All in a day's work...

Initial chimney harder than it looks. The rest a bit dull.

Ran pitch 3 and 4 together on double 60s, had to trail my little pack thru the squeeze. Brilliant chimney, run out but felt secure, lots of 3D moves.

Hung around for 2 hours in drizzle waiting for it to be just dry enough to start. 3 great interesting pitches, fun slabbing, cool corner crack, more slabbing, a traverse to another corner, then a terrific overhung jug haul. Get up on it.

Crux is probably getting established in the V groove, or the top crack exit. Well protected.

Had seconded before. This is great, a nervy little undercling traverse then some fun monkeying around in the overhanging juggy chimney. Watched an epically sweary ascent of Claw, highlight of the day.

Had been saving this for a cruisy option and there was nobody on it! Soloed P1, ran 4&5 together with direct finish. Narrowly avoided heading up Argonauts. The direct finish really doesn't seem any harder than the top of the pitch below.

Bomber pro, easier than Scurvy.

JH arrives to more rain and plentiful mosquitos, with mumblings about working up slowly. Drizzle, greasy rock, quite a stiff move getting onto the low ledge/pinnacle thing.

Rainy morning then cleared just enough. Wound up here after finding a school group swarming at Bushrangers. Wouldn't bother doing it again.

To clean Triblet anchor. Final moves to that are awkward at about 16.
