Did Driftwood start 60m, then middle pitch 45 m, then straight out through roof ( 17) finish which I think is Oedipus.

Would be OK if clean. Fiddly gear.

A different way to get to top of cliff, quite nice climbing, though gear at start is a bit dodgy. Probably not done for 2 decades. Deserves more traffic.

Instead of stepping left up the easy second pitch I went straight up which was apparently quite nice on second

Excellent line, nice and long, possibly a retro bolt by someone other than Herb, as on rings.

A bit of wobbly rock on second pitch, first pitch was nice, I think there’s better17s at the pipes.

.Greasy start, then major offwidth, fortunately a bit easy than first appeared.

Had to do as 2 pitches as used our 2 # 3 before the ledge and essential for after. Dave led the second pitch. All a bit too wide for me to feel comfortable

Would have preferred passive protection, but I didn’t need to test it. Great novelty value.

Turned this into a way more difficult route than graded

Bulging wide hands for me, felt harder than than the 20 next door.

Fairly straightforward crack

Memorable. Led P2 and 3 together. Some stout moves. Take 2 #3 cams and a #4 and dont be afraid of run outs on choss.
