Super breezy, frozen hands more than pump

I didn’t think it was hard except the reachy bit straight off the ledge if you can’t reach the top of the flake. Both halves have nice moves. A bit too much mizzle coming in to do more today, but nice spot .

Start pretty thin but ok. Top easy.

I found this easier than BIALB, kneebar and foot cams and a sit down rest everywhere

Ate away my finger skin going direct on the crux. Mc Dougalled a bit in the end as I could hold the sloper and get feet up well with a half pad undercling but couldn’t reach the good hold

Rpt, haven’t been on this for a decade at least. Nice to walk up it today, maybe I’m so old yet…

Go the kneebar

My taste has clearly changed. Did this 20 yrs ago and thought it average. It was the best route we did today.

Pitch 1 only, though it felt 23 enough. Wimped out before 3rd bolt first go, but getting to pinned flake was also very techy to get the reach. second bolt below feet trying to get tips on break. I also climbed more to the left of the bolts a lot of the time so I could move between breaks. But best climb of the day.

Nice juggy fun and probably a grade easier if tall

Did as suggested in guide and started at first bolt rather than create a mega cairn.

I kept feeling like it should be making it harder to get the grade

Some cool sequences. The bolts are a bit spaced but I didn’t really notice it.

Two shots today, had to reacquaint myself first go. one fall at crux on second go, got back on without much rest and finished it. A super route. Definitely room for something hard to the left.

Getting off the ground was the hardest move if you can’t reach the jug. Lots of positive crimps to use

Nice technical slabbing that coincided with the hour that was warm enough to feel my fingers

Couple of enhanced holds it seems, pretty goey crimping without great feet off ledge, especially my first attempt when my belayer mistakenly mistook a power grunt dead point for a sign I was falling

Have seconded GITM before. Start better than I remember, some good moves between nice rests. Did as one long pitch

A bit soggy for 24, but it makes up for those nasty bouldery things at other crags. It was pumpier than the 22

Second go. My commitment levels were low instead time around getting to second bolt.

Another good crunch route, short but fun

Didn’t really like the start. Couldn’t reach the hold on roof with feet on, got a hole in finger from intermediate crimp, and toe hook combo to do it after about 10 failed goes direct. The slab was nice enough. It suddenly got slippery, had a sit down rest to the right.

Well I did detour briefly into shakes as straight up seems contrived and pretty dangerous, and the other way goes into racers edge and is even more dangerous. Still felt enough to be 23, and very pleasant outing

Definitely harder than Rudolf and suboptimal bolt placements with ledge fall potential. Crux move good but nails. Wouldn’t be out of place for a 24. Could be reach, but I note others found it hard.

I loved this route, every hold was at full reach, but not stupidly so, and great moves

Really reachy around second bolt

Actually liked this. Technical crux, stop whinging people, it is all there. Try a heel toe, flag combo for feet and a matchbox type hold you layoff/ undercling. Apparently flashed this a decade ago, but I don't remember climbing on this wall

Hopped on this thinking it was the 18, no wonder it felt hard

Had to be quite dynamic at one point to reach. Rock on top pitch is not great.

Over bolted and over graded, and nice exposure, what’s not to like

Crap rock, only good move is the starting mantle ( if you don’t chimney)

FFA. My recollection is it’s a little easier than the route to the R, so I will give it a 22. Fun route.

Burly start, then some varied good climbing

Second shot, surprised myself as two really long dead points off crap feet for me. Great monos, great moves.

Nice varied climbing. On tippy toe coming around the roof

A decade I did this I think, but have no recollection. Went up putting draws on so I could put some long slings on NIB. A super nice route.

Rpt. I think the start warrants 21. It’s unpleasant. The rest of the climb is nice

Pretty hard moves to below roof. Interesting and fun and a sandbag at 21.

Rock quality rather blah ( even the good bit) . Quite pumpy

Better than route to left

Rpt, for a no fall day. Would have done all the routes but MR Christmas poo was occupied. This route is pretty reachy, but happy with Alz OS

Definitely not 18 as in the guidebook. Very hard start., had to get out crack glove, and hard second clip

Some good climbing, nice and long, and the spaced bolts help the focus. Nice sting in the tail, tricky with buffeting winds

The move off the low ledge is tricky if you can’t reach the jug

I think it was fun enough but not that memorable

Second shot. The onsight was never going to happen as I was freezing putting the draws on and phased by long runout between bolts 2 and 3. Good small wire placement would be useful. Second go was ok through crux, and then completely forgot everything, nearly losing it after the last bolt, but managed to down climb and regroup.

Dave had rapped down and placed draws. Too scared to fall off looking at rusty old piton. Deserving of a revolt. Lovely technical arête

Second go today, have tried it one shot many years ago. I must have learnt a few tricks since, I think I found the big move out of reach before, but just could get the height today.

Second shot, to first set of anchors. Nice to have a long draw on second go. I sat on the crux a bit trying different methods first go, and went back to how I first tried it. Quite tricky. Rest of route is nice. Not interested in chipped routes, so didn’t try top, and didn’t use the apparent chip at the low crux.

Short and gym like, but at least it’s not a link up
