Ascensions dans Newcastle

Figuring out the start boulder.

More playing around on the boulder. Cool shouldery move to the flat hold right of the first bolt and engaging until the jug on the top of the flake.

Fell at start, lowered and went again. Lots of fun and all independent climbing! Get on it!

Warmup. Shoulder and ribs hurting.

Nice start, good rests. Not too hard, after start. Could be 23. A long sling on 3rd bolt was comforting

Cruxy start is very nice. 2 hand fee rests. A worthwhile addition to Glenrock.

Combines all the interesting climbing.

Fun moves around the bulge on good holds. Climbed with a sling on the 3rd as it was a bit runout.

Don't climb the corner, go directly into the overhang.

Interesting to figure out the beta. Bouldery fun! Get on it!

Had to inspect the holds and a couple of the moves. Wasn't sure how to clip the third.

Not hard when you know whats what. Thanks Alex for the rebolting efforts at this crag! Anchor chain could maybe do with a thicker maillon.

Climbed straight up to bolt above break.

Best line of holds on the wall.

Recommend a very long sling on the third bolt, as well as a short draw.

Most interesting line in this area. Overhanging, slopers and underclings. Stay left of the line of bolts.

Pretty standard warmup route however my long pants were missed on the first moves bum slide manoeuvre

Had a rest at the bulge to figure out the beta I had worked out yonks ago

Had an attempt and took a whopping whip going over the bulge, not even mad though was a good time haha

Chuffed to tick it, the feet when your clipping aren’t bad but feel spicy. One of my favourites at Glenrock

Another lap for good measure.. also to clean

Thought I’d try knock these both off in one day, copied Lachys beta but pretzeled myself trying to get the left foot up before bumping the intermediate out left. Shook out and landed the crimp from the roof jug and decided no more foot up for me. Hopefully go fresh next session
