Ascensions dans Knubbelwand

Had the (high) first bolt already clipped.

Tried it with the first two bolts clipped.

Beautiful boulder problem with a spanning move in the beginning (really tough if you're small).

The first bolt is quite high (as for many routes here) and strenuous to clip, so I sat in the rope just after clipping.

Hard start following a crack to a hold formed like the female primary sex organ, followed by good, but way easier climbing up a few ledges.

Nice chimney in the beginning. The guide book is more specific, counting 3 different variants of the crack, but the logical line makes a step to the right on the first ledge and then goes back to the (first) bolt on the left afterwards.

Good climbing on structures typical for the area. A bit sandy.

I first thought you could do it without using the crack, but at the first sling, you need to shove half your body into it. ;-) As the guide book says: not a climb for everybody.

Usually being too short is just an excuse for being too weak, but this time I was indeed just too short.
