Ascensions dans Brown Cloud Crags

Face climbing needs balance and long spin.

Starting the year off right! Rakkup is a good guidebook app, proving its worth when used on the first day of the year. Didn't know what to expect climbing in the CO winter, but turned out to be excellent friction and enough heat provided by the sun. This shall be our winter crag. Sussing out the style with this route, and it was great! Expected a KP, but this is way better. All grades are sandbagged, but will try to direct my attention to climb quality in this crag instead Easy climbing with a couple of rooflets with interesting moves, great climb!

Easy clmbing leads to an arete compression crux. Originally graded 5.11a/b, and guidebook says 5.11a dunno why thecrag rates it 5.10c. Really good!

Easy and flowy all the way up!

Excellent climbing on great holds! Overhanging at first, then tensiony crux.

Fun climbing run out routes!

A hard 5.8 just because of the slippery holds at the first rooflet.

Walked up the gully and top roped off the chains. Great starter climb. You can get creative with how you approach getting up.
