Hadn’t really looked at guide. Great moves to a literal nails crux but I think I could do it, though I was doing a karate kick to the right after matching on the thin rail. Sticking the thin rail was the only move I didn’t do.

Got to half way mantle clean and almost got through it it, then easy to the crimp crux and faded on the top third again.

P2 and3 , got through the first half of P2 to the mantle, then faded towards end. P3 start is dire, then gnarly finger crack that will be tricky on lead

FFA. Unless someone else wants to claim it, spotted this line last year, it took way too much skin and climbing days (3) but finally got the 3 sequences linked(success rate after figuring out the moves 70% first, 20% second, 30% third). Not that keen on having an accident on Flinders, so led it with 3 bits of gear- red C3, small wire, purple C3 and one more red C3 to top out.

I’m a pretty hopeless red pointer, but this project piqued my interest.Every moment figuring out the moves and linking them together has been a pleasure, in such a beautiful place. Seeing the bush spring back after the fires of last year is incredible. Earlier in the day, when I was 8 m up, and Dave on the ground, a wedge tail eagle pursued by a currawong did some proximity flying between us, about 2m out from the cliff.

Well the start and end were good, suspect some rope assistance through the low crux and the upper one needed more work. Spent some time brushing someone else’s excessive chalk and tick marks- lest anyone think it was us, but it needs a good shower to clean it off. Will have to get fitter and return

FFA. Great slab moves, through a Rooflet, a slab Dyno and then a nice finger crack.

FFA. Dave and I had quite different beta, esp for the top. Reachy but possible.

Apart from the start, a nice route but with spaced bolting post crux when you are getting pumped

Another 2 goes. Did second crux twice, which is the low probability move for me. On second go was through the third crux on lead when an edge crumbled and I came off, though the 4 th crux will be the heartbreaker I reckon. Hope the cool conditions continue.

3 separate days, maybe 5 attempts. All but half a move done, and clean again to top of pedestal. Linking it all together is another thing.

great day with some stunning climbing. Had a rest on P2 . Thought the route could be renamed chalk is cheap given the excess! Back to the van before the rain

Best effort to date. Did all clean except 2m in the middle that still requires a solution

Another 2 goes. Tempted to put a maillon on bolt at 15m At 25, and leave the rest as extension. Holding most positions but downward facing slopers make it hard to move upwards.

Not as good as the original, the traverse right to join BB is best done quickly on a low spooge day

FFA. Team FFA, amazing what a bit less humidity can do. Interesting to compare our sequences which were quite different, especially on the left traverse. Worth the long walk from killiecrankie instead of Docks forachange

Maybe only 24, but we weren’t placing gear on lead. Great fun. A direct start looks possible which would definitely be 25. Well protected but could feel fiddly on an onsight attempt.

Gave the rebolt a whirl. A 0.75 needed above last bolt. One of the easier 24 s at MF, nice moves. The direct start awaits.

Finally stopped falling off after the crux. Good conditions seeing it was 40 degrees at home. Notes to self- down climb after first 5 bits of gear, triple set C3s,, tape right hand, flag right foot at crux, right hand thumbs down at top of lower crack or won’t reach the next one. Team success!

Hasn’t had much traffic lately

I am pretty sure I belayed the FA of this a decade ago and declined to do it due to skin and reach. I was obviously more sensible back then. Everything today felt quite spoogy. This took a few more goes than it should have for the first 4 metres. I just kept sliding off the hold at the end of the crux next to the wire placement. It’s really a direct start to Psalm 69

I feel like I needed the anchors lower, after the grade 26 bit......

FFA. Grade from the exit traverse, though good moves from the start. The linking traverse done low is kinder IMO having done them both, as the gear post traverse feels better. But the upper line is good too.

Had to redeem myself for the slip on Fin crack

Second go today, put some gear in, managed to hang on despite muffing sequence

Rpt ascents working out how to get the gear in when feeling maxed out. Beautiful Christmas Eve weather

About another 4 laps on the first pitch to get up to new second pitch which also did multiple goes. Nice steep line, need good hip flexibility. Not in shade until about 230 pm.

The softest 22 at Frog? But I will take it to make up for all the sandbags

It’s a link up, but a good one that does the best bit of the crack and avoids the vegetation.

Double ropes, placed all the gear on lead, I did suss the #3 RP placements before hand, but had to problem solve a fair bit due to the fact that the gear fills some of the better holds. Quite pleased, there’s a few run outs and some of the gear placements are fairly blind, now I can just enjoy top roping it in future!

2 sits, better friction than last week. Worth it to get john Wilde back in the saddle

Rpt to clean. 2 snakes visible but neither impacting the route. Required a few rests, was hot in the sun.

A couple of rests remembering the sequence post footer breakage

Nice but suffered from being climbed on when wet a couple of days ago.

A bit tired and sore skin and shoulder after 2 days at Nowra, but cleaning the house can only take up so much time. Fell off a few things due to not concentrating on sequence. Pretty cold and windy.

Type 2 fun today, my fingers are really worn through. Used first bolt to TR start as no gear below, and had a fixed wire, as FA team did ready to clip at both cruxes.

I wish I’d written down my beta. Maybe I just need to try hard

Lead it with a couple of falls, then top roped a couple of times. Can do it clean with my umbilicus at first bolt, but starting off the ladder is a touch too low for me to get established and very finger skin destroying so it wasn’t worth more time. Lovely moves on flakes and lots of gear. Generously bolted.

FFA. 3rd visit over 3 years. The recent activity in the area made me pull my finger out. I really like this. Pretty technical. Had the gear all lined up in the order it went in as always found the bouldery 5m crux pretty hard

Waiting for the water streaks on the main wall to dry up. The bolt on the new project makes cams almost redundant. We used a 0.5

Thanks to whomever put in the new anchors since I was last here. This I think is my favourite route in the gorge. Got here a bit late, and it was damn hot, so had a single go to reacquaint myself, with one slip on the lower part, then time to go packrafting the Gorge!

I had to divert back into holiday after falling off the thin finger crux to make upward progress then moved right again. The stalactite feature was amazing but vibrates.

Very airy out on the arete.

Exploring options for a rebolt. Nice climbing, shame about the rock. Second go after a bit= a lot of brushing.
