Ascensioni in Camels Hump come Flash

Might be an Alzheimers Flash - can't remember if I've been on this problem before but the jug at the top seemed familiar...

I went straight up after the crux, like it is shown in the topo, and ended up in moss-land. I guess you are supposed to go right and up the last 2 meters of IO?

Pretty fun had already climbed most parts of the wall before I did this so I guess it was a flash redpoint lol

Route was good but the anchor was a little hard to find and has the rope run over some less than ideal edges for the lower off. I preferred Voodoo People, which felt no harder

Watched Freddie do the start and looked at what the girls were doing, knew it was ok after that and just went for it.

More like slightly bold 19 climbing. The right size micro cam will keep you safe.

Why does this gets 22 when COC only gets 21? the crux is the same...

Very nice. Bouldery start then thin moves on the face. Unfortunately the final bolt isn't in a great position, as the crux is below it, and is quite run out from the previous bolt. By the time you reach the final bolt, the difficult climbing is all over, and there's trad placements available anyway if you want protection for the easy finish. If that bolt were a metre lower, then it could protect the crux.

As a suggestion, instead of clipping high and on the face for the 3rd clip as you traverse slightly left before the arett, instead clipping low and to the left before you get there (left of the suspect flake), keeping your rope more in line and reducing the need for long draws/ drag. A fine route, and yes, hard for the grade.

Now a good sport root with 4 new and shiny bolts. Probably even deserves a star once the grime is off the holds.

Packs it in for such a short line. Really enjoyable and climbs really well. Thanks for the rebolt Matt. Deserves more attention which it should get with the new shiny additions.
