Ascensioni in New South Wales and ACT come Hang dog

Just to the first anchors which I'm told is 30ish? I Didn't do a move at the second bolt but I think I probably can manage it, then did everything up to the two move crux which I could barely touch, and then I fell off the lip turn a few times and came down. Totally totally mega, and the full route looks like the most insane piece of rock climbing, oh man! One for the dream list!

Been wanting to jump on this for years, and took the opportunity while the draws were still there. It did not disappoint. Incredible climbing and rock. Didn't quite make it to the top, but I'll be back. Well done Sasha!!

A really encouraging go. All sections done except one low move. I’m in love.

Still need some time to work on the beta.

The roof move for Levitation is not very friendly for shorter person like me, can't do it dynamically, so need to do a figure 4 to pass the crux, and definitely need to clip the second quickdraw for safety reason.

Haven't figure out the the bouldering moves for Search and Destroy, but seems doable.

Not an ideal route for fifth day on, but we will overcome! Didn't get super far, felt quite overwhelmed, was a full value experience. Psyched to have opened the account. 2021!

Did all the moves and went to the top first go today in a mammoth 1.5 hour dogging bonanza (thanks Lewis for the monster belay!!) Super super super psyched but i think that managing the sequences has just made me realise how properly hard this thing actually is! It’s also the most mega though and i’m psyched to put some effort into it! Gotta get strong. (x2)

Pulled on thrice today which was a pb. Linked the first boulder as a whole sequence on my first lap and re-did all the moves to the top, second lap I linked from below the first boulder to the cartoon crux which I tried to climb into but grabbed the draw. Tried new heel hook beta here which was rad, did the move a few times. Third lap tried for more links but was too smoked. Turns out being fifth day on is the money! (x3)

Trying some new links today. Went from the knee bar to the jump at the end of the first crux twice and from the ground (kind of) into the first crux. Did some refinement on the cartoon crux and the linking sequence too. This route is still the radness. (x3)

Headed down after Shipley. Sorted some new foot beta for the start of the Cartoon Crux, made some links, gradually getting better at the heel spins. Rad. (x2)

By far my best effort yet. On my third go I went from the jug at the first bolt (skipping just the first move) all the way to the set up into the cartoon (main) crux but was gassed and couldn’t clip. Rad. Will need to invest in a knee pad probably and also hope for some non-sauna conditions. (x3)

Nice to jump back on after almost exactly a month away. Grand connies before the storm, I did suck quite a bit though. No skin and sore muscles and maximum fear on the heel spins.

Two goes as there were queues on everything else. On the warm up the moves felt the easiest they ever have, but by the time I had my second go humidity had doubled from 35% to 70% and it all felt quite hard. Was brilliant to see Brad's brilliant fight to an awesome send. Strong Brad is reborn as Enduro Brad.

Had a play as the storm rolled in. Mega classic steep slabbing. Did all the moves up to the Brummel move (which I have done before) except for getting established on the flake, then came down. Wildly good.

Same experience as last time. Good to do some hard moves at the end of the day though.

Terrible conditionS. Bottom crux felt terrible, while top was ok.

Super enjoyable all the way to the top.

Other routes were busy so why not have a bash! Bailed from the third bolt. Fun to try something way beyond my grade.

Some really good links today, all sequences done, went through the main crux and into the Hairline Crux. Good scenes. Starting to feel like jugs.

Turns out this really is quite hard. Got to the third bolt okay but then it gets a bit wild.

Made some good new links today. Went from the jug through the first crux and fell off the pocket and then did the same but fell tickling the slot. Rad. Best connies out at DF all year?! (x3)

So so good, feels years away but a good percentage of the moves feel really good, came up with some wild full splits toe hook beta for the undercling traverse which seems promising but also very stupid. A couple laps with rest between working different sections.

Seems more than a grade harder than Pooferator. The moves getting into Equaliser are sick though!

Just the one go. Can still do the moves. I guess I've done it in 3 overlapping sections or something.

Two goes. I think my beta is what it needs to be and I'll probably just keep trying it intermittently until one day I do it. Swena almost sent right at the end of the day like an absolute weapon!!

Two goes and one half aid draw retrieval mission. A footer I use down low is gone which is sad but otherwise the same as normal; sequences are fine but linkage is hard. Oh well.

Re-did the moves up to where it rejoins Tsunami. It’s kinda rad but i’m not fully convinced. One go.

Could be fun! The upper boulder is a beautiful tension sequence
