Almost got it on the 3rd go.

Hard work in the baking sun. A tough little crux at the start into a bigger move off a sloper. Not sure if it's a 24 but happy to take the grade.

Stoked to get it today, but damn it was hot in the sun

Very good route. Boulder gym esque with lots of hold variety. Different to the other 24s here. All worth getting on!

Second burn send, then did it again as I think I went up too high in the crack on the right and made it too easy. Fun route.

Even moving left straight from corner this thing seems soft for grade. Interesting moves for short climb.

Third go, had to figure the crux reach. Crack gloves both hands helped and taped right index finger for brutal finger lock

So cramped on the crux. Might take a while to get this.

Got the beta dialled today. Very strenuous crux for me. Will have to be fresh to get it done. Again different to the other 24s. All worth doing!

Simply not strong enough for this and have no idea about the beta.

Late day beta look. Very different climbing to the other 24s here. Slab, mantle and thin pinch. Lots to like.

The crux feels manageable. The start is the hardest part and getting up over the bulge.

Struggled with the mantle over the bulge. Little slimper after the pinch isn't easy either!

Second burn send, needed to chalk up some invisible holds at the top. Broke a bunch of footers at the start 🤣

The mantle is nice, the start nails if slot is out of reach and the end pretty hard. Gives me something to come back for.

Felt alor better on this today than last time.

I HATE MANTLES… starts fine, end is doable, but getting over that bulge is hard.

Slightly technical makes you think a bit but quite fun. A nice warm up.

I found a small yellow La Sportiva slipper in the bush on the other side of the track at the base of this climb. A local told me the fire was lit by youths. Looks like they lit a fire on the top above the anchors of Chain Anchor and accidentally dropped embers into the area below.
