great warm up. not taxing.

my first ever route. i think the 2nd bolt is probably a bit high. going on memory!!!

rebolted with U bolts and lower offs

climb out from left side of arete on to low angle slab. follow slab and crack to the top

slighly harder than Milly's to the right

good face climbing

good old fashioned finish. jams and cursing!!

Funny "no" hands move past the first bolt, would add a bit of spice on lead. Cams will go in the breaks below.

Used both carrots and then traversed back to lower offs on Cartoon Physics. More like a variant rather than a distinct route on its own

tough start to not so bad climbing, i think i took the easy way out on the left at the top and then used the anchors from the climb to the left

Veerry average ... but who can avoid a staircase of well-chipped footholds?

Three moves of great ironstone hand and fingerlocks then a slopy topout in the fading light. More like 14 under these conditions I think.

Well I did downclimb it before I knew it was a downclimb. Here's to the oher way up! Only really one top move, rest is dirt.

I used the start to move to Cartoon Physics but the start was great

Maybe a bit soft

first trad lead,

pleasant jamming, bridging and layback moves to a steep finish. Good trad pro in the crack whenever you need it.

Why bother really - just reprising history.

Well wasn't this the authentic crack struggle - bomber hands, knee jam, face holds, small cams, giant cams, and a soupcon of offwidth to finish it, and me, off - Dang! If it ain't 18, it's a stiff 17.

Layed away all the way - much easier when not placing pro. Bonza for sure!

Greasy rock

Tried and failed to grab the greasy sloper or make significant headway at the limits of post-rain adhesion.

Just a couple of clean layaways. Would be far easier with 70% less humidity.

Shameful dogging on the ratchet, but the onsight was improbable. Hard bit's about 1.5m of fingerlocking before you can sink a jam. Better get that sorted before Frog!

Climbed the pleasant wall & arete to the right avoiding the crack til just before the top. Probably top-roped before as no pro. Will go around 17.

How not to overcam.

Not too bad, but short. Crux is the start, but good gear and jamming to the top and step left to new lower offs

Had trouble in the crack at the top and gave up with the onsight

Very awkward topout

a little stressful on time but i think this was just my lack of crack skills....don't think i jammed my feet at all.

Easy going till last move which I felt a bit awkward. Good protection.

Struggled through this one, foot slipped at one point and I took a little fall in the gear - one of my first!
