Fuck everything at Cascade is so good! Went up to the first crux in one link. Three distinct cruxes on the head wall, each felt ridiculously hard until I found the way. Was careful to really dial the beta this time so I don’t waste 3 goes changing beta like I did on Vagabond. Will project this next time I’m at Cascade.

Putting the draws in was hard work. Was hoping a couple of weeks at Cèüse would have pumped up my endurance but it felt harder than last time I tried it!

 

1. Bit nervous, felt good but couldn’t slot the crux knee bar, fell off pissed but knowing I could do it.

2. 4 other people working the route sharing the start resulted in a torturous 2 hour wait to get back on. So nervous I felt sick. Fell off at the crux. Felt like it wasn’t possible again.

3. Had already resolved I wouldn’t send. Went up for one more go. Climbed it perfectly, fell off on the very last move. Gutted.

Putting the draws in, after two rest days, felt so much harder than a week ago lol.

Felt harder still second go, never take rest days I guess. 🤷‍♀️

 

1. First crux felt easier today, second one took like 5-6 tries (went first try yesterday) idk. 🤷‍♂️

2. Fell at all three cruxes. Seems to be getting harder.

3. Tired after 2 pitches. ffs.

New low point. Literally gets harder every time I climb it lol. Cleaned it, not this trip.

Tried really hard but came off coming out the roof, will be back for this one. Really fun.

Was determined to flash this… fell off between the 2nd and 3rd draw. 😂

Sooo polished at the bottom. Feet were slippin’ all over the shop at the bottom, climbed the top nervous and without feet, which was pumpy!

Cleaned most of it up on subsequent goes but couldn 't stick the last move!

Choss at the bottom convinced me I was going to blow a hold and I did! Mega whip. Spicy finish.

Went up to clean the draws off Medusa Falls, followed the bolts v direct, making it bloody nails and punted off!

Last climb of the day. Fumbled a hold on the Boulder at the bottom and dropped it, pulled straight back on and had a good battle to the top. Nice sustained climbing. Will try again if I’m back there.

 

1. Putting the draws on. Builds nicely in difficulty to a desperate crux. Tried going right a few times but nails sequence and could get to the tufa or get the last draw in.

2. Went well up to crux then wrecked myself getting through it. Danny Paradorn looked way closer but heartbreaking finish!

Project shopping continues! Found it much more straight forward than Agelias, cruxes are definitely harder but the moves are cooler. Maybe…

Talked a big game about on sighting the shit outta’ it. Didn’t.

Went pretty good up to sixth bolt, could not work out a sequence that worked for me above that. Faucher Antoine was so close though. Maybe if we perserved we would have figured something, but is was a quick one and done for me.

Shouldn’t have done this as my third climb. Thrashed myself at the crux, climbed like a wanker for the rest of the day after.

Fell off about half way, decided it wasn’t my cup of tea anyway. Came down.

Fuck I’m crap on this terrain. My footwork is shite and I’m so gripped the whole way I just overgrip everything and climb like a pumped wanker. I don’t actually like this climb, but I feel like I should work it just because I’m so rubbish at it.

Felt sooo much easier when a bit fresher, still fell off the top though! 🤷‍♀️

Felt easier than th f4+ tbh. Finished in style by not pulling on tree roots!

Tried a few sequences not really sure if any of them were "good". Feels hard, but V8's usually do for me... 🤷‍♀️

Just cannot crank that hard on the mono, also not even that easy once you get through start, maybe I'm doing it wrong, maybe I just suck? 🤷‍♀️

One of the coolest blocs I’ve ever tried. Could do a few moves but linking the thing would be mega! One day maybe!

Was supposed to be a warm up but didn't even flash due to mossy feet!
