Probably the new proj, done all the moves apart from the last one. The moves towards the lip are fucken spectacular 🤙

Good progress. Dialed in the harder parts and made some better links. Super psyched on this proj.

Not an overly successful day

Massive links today, so damn stoked. Really solid progress and tidied up some small bits of beta in some areas.

Fucken finally dialed in the last big move Feelsgoodman. I think another sesh or two and I’ll be going for red point attempts, exciting!

Finally got the sequence linked. Tough thin moves up the wall.

Well this was an entertaining jump up in class. Lowering down the route from tricky I was not feeling confident of getting very far. Ended up getting to just under the 4th draw. Crux move between 4 & 5 is not bad after a sit but on link will be hard. The lack of rests will be most problematic though.

Many attempts now, but still can't link it to the end.

Awesome feature and line. Finishes off with a dyno to a sloper, after a long roof traverse.

a key hold was broken at the start, so i used a Batman start. A better route for it too

Jesus. As bolt to bolt as it gets. No particularly hard moves but the accumulation is epic!

Really really nice climbing on good rock. Did all the moves but one. Forcing myself to sample some more 27s before I commit to one as project but it’s damn tempting to commit to this one 🤙

More sampling of 27s. Cool traverse moves into an awesome boulder problem finish.

Done all the moves now. Not sure if it feels possible or not at my current level but keen to put some more work into it.

Think this is beyond me for now, not powerful enough for the crux.

Trotters clean to warmup then bolt to bolt sussing. Few goes trying first move of crux. One for another day.

Couldn't touch the crux sequence today. The rock quality through the hard bit is bullet-hard and brilliant, but either the sweaty summer sun, or my own weakness, meant I just couldn't do the crux fridge-hugging sequence. Might try again in winter.

2 laps. I love the climbing/moves, but the rock quality is pretty poor for a 3-star route, and some of the bolts are in weird places (I think they've "become" weird by breakage of clipping holds, rather than because they were wrong from the outset).

Quite sustained all the way to the anchor, but totally my style. Desperate, steep, scary heel-hooking up a crazy overhanging prow, with a rather gnarly finish. This could be a rad proj if I can commit to leaving my draws on it, and not having to endure the epic of back-jumping it each time.

Linked the ground to 4th draw. And from the 4th to the 6. The 7th to anchors is looking pretty hard. Still to figure out quite a few moves

Beasty climb! Some really cool moves/holds. A lot of work to be done...

Hanging draws

Trying out moves from end of plonka. No longer having trouble at the first lip. Figured out some beta for all moves except for the very end. Sure there's a trick. Absolutely feels like the hardest 27 I've tried so far!

Three tie ins progressively working my way up the route. Linked from the anchors of plonka to the roof. Found a good double kneebar in that section! Also finally managed the moves to the anchors, involving the worst hold on the whole route and a cheeky kneebar. It's a JJ route, of course the moves to the anchors are screamers! Having fun!

2 solid burns today. First burn went from ground to 5th bolt which was a new high point. Worked crux a lot (7-8th bolt). Second burn linked ground to 7th bolt on the sharp jug rail. Worked the top section a lot. No victory jugs at the top. Was able to do the crux sequence a couple of times. Hopefully next time I can do it in 1or 2 sits. Just need more endurance

Good seven months since I tried this last. Done all the moves and made some decent links. May put Creature on the back burner for now, just not able to get the time required on it. We’ll see.

Another few burns. Sorted some better beta for the top. Need more endurance, le pump is real.

Did it in one sit

Made some much bigger links this time which is nice. Had to figure out some new beta at the 5th bolt though since Nathan yeeted off a hold.

Broke off a good hold around the 5th bolt. Still do able. Just adds a harder move lower down which makes it more pumpy. Managed to get it in one sit with the hold gone. The pump at the top is ridiculous

Think it’s been like a good year since I put some work into this. Disappointingly still difficult.
