Wow.. What a route.. What a place! Took a bit of adjusting as I have little experience in limestone.. then throw in some runnouts and fiddling with gear and you have an epic day out for sure!! Every pitch had excelent climbing! Thought provoking limestone adventure.. P3 crux, as mentioned, sure was stout and the crux of the multi.

Came back to clean up the 3rd pitch. All went smooth with 3 nice friends after the hangers (2/3,1,.75) untill exiting the crack left foot slipped. Darn.. (beta: after last side pull left foot goes real high and Rock over then next side pull out left) then a solid 0.4 friend in vertical slit. Tried it again but this time slipped at start.. But then linked it clean from under the hangers to the anchors which felt good! Next time for the full tick!

23 Infant Terror - with Peter, Bert B Mixed trad 45m, 16 Blue Mountains Tue 18th Aug 2020
Climbed in one pitch which was an adventure and a bit outrageous really. Takes the longest line of the wall up the most beautiful rock. As mentioned.. The two rope technique works a treat to reduce drag. Even though it may not be politically correct to call this a flash as I have climbed the starting flake on my onsight of "spoilt brats" I feel I flashed this route as all the hard/significant bits are afer the "access" flake.

18 17 Sweet Nightmare (Link-Up) - with mitch Mixed trad 130m, 12 Blue Mountains Classic Mon 25th Sep 2017
led pitch 1, 3, 5. Id recomend a bit of trad gear for p2, its easy but get very run out withough it! medium cams or big-ish wires should be good i think. Can also sling a rock which i did and was fine. We added the short bit of climbing between P3 and P4 on to P4. Making P4 a few metres longer. Just used a long sling to extend the one ring of the anchor points at the bottom of P4 to reduce rope drag. And need extra few draws. P4 was hardest pitch and just amazing!

used 1 x #1 cam. Little roof is crux and possibly harder than 17 going over it, plus if you fall here ull be falling on the pro you placed in the crack so be cautious of that.

Topped out of hermes and saw a super fun looking line in the shade so jumped on not knowing what it was. Got past first crux and above lip but then chickened out as only had a few draws with me. A fall there could be bad withought some pro between 3rd and 4th bolt! (#2/3cam?). Careful of bad swing back when going for dyno move if you miss! This deserves more than one star.. It's a super good and intimidating route to work! Will be back for this one 100%

20 Solomon - with Emilio Carreto, Donald Gibson Mixed trad 51m, 4 Blue Mountains Sun 16th Sep 2018
Favourite line at piddo to date! (besides eternity's aesthetics!) Absolutely stunning jamming and lay backing up a perfect beautiful orange corner crack through roof. It climbed smooth till the offwidth part but misread the crux move. Sat on the rope to reassess then it flowed nicely again to anchors. Unforgettable line! Most scary part for me was actually pitch one mantling over vegetation at steep top corner..maybe misread this part.. There are 5 well places carrots on P2 (3/4 under roof) so no need for much gear at all. 4/5 cams will be plenty(±: .75,1,2/3,4, and #5 at very top of pitch 2.) rap down to ground from 2 ring bolts at top of pitch 2 with double 60s. If only have one 60m rope a less ideal and bit tricky way is to rap to top of pitch one with absolute minimum 60m rope, swing in to corner and use #4 to protection while disconnecting from rap ropes, then rap to ground from one carrot with washer on it.

Decided to rapp down after pitch 4 as we didn't want to do the last pitch in dark. Also learnt that unfrequented long trad lines wondering on sometimes seemingly blank limestone walls can be very time consuming to navigate and be mentally challenging.. This route gave me a moment of pondering to myself about why the hell im out here.. But afterwards cherishing the moments and craving to do it all again. Led pitches 2 and 4 which were both great! Mostly found lots of good pro on my pitches and I sure made use of all of it. Sadly we probably didn't do the best part, The top 2 pitches, and are keen to return for that.

18 Cactus - with Peter Trad 78m Wolgan Valley Mon 3rd Aug 2020
Stacked Dr freeze on top of this which took us a a total of 5.5 hours from start of cactus back there. (Getting from top of cactus to setting off on freeze took 40 minutes) Climbing at good pace and then soaking up the views on a very cruizy descent. Rapped back down at tree with red sling and maillon which gets you to base of sizzler in 2 raps on dbl 60s Peter led p1&2 I led p3&4. combined them with double rack cams 0.4-1 and single 2/3 plus full set of nuts.

19 Ghoul - with Bert B Trad 60m Wolgan Valley Mon 31st Aug 2020
Finally got on this one. Done in one pitch. Double rack with triples in 0.75 and 1 was more than enough. All in all its a good route! And a fast way to get to the half way ledge. Couple of sections with good jamming! Could use more traffic though! The top was a bit dirty and the fires probably added debrit. You top out between 2 trees. I belayed from the right one, comfortably standing on a little jaggered arete below it. Then we scrambled up to do Central direct (which is directly above). On the descent we retraced our steps back to where ghoul tops out (we lowered each other/rapped, as everything is very loose on the half way ledge) and then rapped back down 60m from the other tree (on the right side of ghoul top out - facing out) Where we left a 7mm prussic cord to rapp off.

Excelent exciting adventure climb. Linked P1&P2, and P3&P4 together. P1 is beautiful and can be done as a single pitch. P2 really enjoyable funky climbing in to the corner under roof. Belay stance was on top the suspended somewhat worrying block but good pro (sml-med cams) . P3 was probably my most exciting trad lead yet.. #4 deep in under roof crack then a couple of pumpy moves. Continue corner crack to top. Belay off tree which had on it slings and biners. 2 x 70m ropes easily got us to the ground in one rap with rope to spare. 60s might just work to but best to check!
