I really enjoyed whaling my way up this. Awesome

The crux is the dog leg offwidth. Spent a minute trying to climb it straight on, then had an idea and laybacked it to victory. #4 and #5 C4s were handy.

I don't know what I was thinking trying to climb this while sick. I was hoping for a miracle send on an Ibuprofen high, but it was just a circus.

The first 10m were nice, followed by a gross and dirty ledge, before an easy top out. Pretty glad I brought my #4 and #5 C4s. This climb does not deserve an R rating (unless you don't bring any big cams), and I have edited it to reflect. Hopefully more people give it a go now, if only to do the nice hand crack at the beginning.

Climbed it again to show Tim the beta, and the tip of a side pull snapped off in my hand, resulting in a small whip on my black totem.

Was a bit tricky to figure out the beta without touching Big Ears but it didn't feel tooooo contrived. It's definitely possible and the moves felt good.

Did two top rope ascents, the second only had one hd rest at the crux. Worth going back for!

I try to rate ascents close to what they would be classified outdoors. Gym ratings are often a bit generous. This was a 21 on gym rating. Was a bit pumped but it’s super achievable.
