Ascensões em Cardiff and Newport crags

First route in Wales probably turned into a first ascent 😂 Link up between two routes, traversing leftwards.

Pretty pumpy little number.

Pumpy line. Blew my onsight at the last bolt, went second try. Best climb I’ve done in Wales at the moment. Beautiful moves and holds.

First 7a/23 onsight 🎉 crimpy, delicate, and technical climbing up the vertical face. Average line.

This rig is the definition of a sandbag! Holy fuck has a route never felt so off for what it’s graded. Maybe holds and feet have broken off?

This thing's awesome. Nice sandstone, proper adventure sport climbing and about 30 metres long. Snappy holds, mosquitos, vegetation, yet still a brilliant climb. The moves from the last bolt to the chains, tiptoeing along the lip of the roof above a BIG drop - fantastic!

Grit-like super technicality, and a bit of desperation - intense!

Unbelievably good climbing! Super technical toeing and palming right on the arete. Always tenuous but never deperate. F*cking brilliant!
