Ascents in Jasper National Park

Loved that it wasn't sustained because it was the perfect climb for where I am at endurance wise right now ha ha

Great climb, but roof climbing is a skill I need to work on. ha ha

My favourite climb of the area.

I wasn't expecting the large dynamic move from the pockets to the flake. Maybe if you completely avoid that section by going way right I could see it being 11a. Being short would definitely increase the grade on this climb.

I agree with the book saying it's awkward.

Classic climb, just keep going and don't blow the onsight!

Bit of a two move wonder... leap of faith kinda deal. Avoid the large crack/groove on the right of the climb after the crux for full value!

Didn't rest enough an blew the on-sight. Sweet climb that is quite technical, crimpy and reachy. Got all the moves, not enough time to send! Highly recommend

Pulled a massive jug block just after the crux off then bailed. Might be harder now!

Actually pretty enjoyable slab climbing.

Got blasted by a quick storm while bringing up the second and then retreated. Waited a bit for a redo.

Kinda meh except the top. Really polished in the start from the 5.7 traffic.

Also feels more 5.10 c/d at the last moves. Couldn't get up on the left side so went a bit more direct and right.

Pretty enjoyable fingery climbing up to the bulge, but very tricky to get over. Thin delicate climbing above.

Hung at draw trying to get over bulge, and at last bolt trying to find a path to the anchor.

Route has pretty interesting movement all along but it's pretty finicky and technical. Hung at third bolt sorting out how to get over the bulge, and to pumped out somewhere on the higher section.

Super tired after last 11. Hung a bunch. Not super hard but pumpy.
