Ascents in Chilliwack

Was trying it on and off last couple of years. Got it on the 3d attempt today using a different beta.

Must be a great warm up on a hot day… unfortunately went on a cold one and felt like an insect creeping up a cold cave.

Fun route with good jugs most of the way

Class 4 scramble from the base to gain the West Ridge, hiked to the base of the climb. Low-5th climbing to the West (false) Summit. Traverse to the base of East Summit. 5.6 climb to the East Summit.

Easy low-5th scramble to the base of the Chimney. We climbed the chimney and the pitch above the chimney didn't feel like low-5th. There might be an alternate route left of the base of the chimney.

Ridiculous route. Did over 2 days with a mid route bivy around pitch 14. Climbing is exposed and mostly bomber steep jug hauling.

Took a fall at first and 3rd bolt.

Good climbing, sharp holds.

Worth it all the way!

First Alpine Route! One of the most scenic lines i have ever done.

16 hours car to car

Lovely little scramble.

Soloed up to the crux, then wasn't certain about whether or not some of the rock above was chossy, so backed off and scrambled around to do the crux as a roped solo. Soloed remainder of route. Definitely the best route up here. Great climbing on awesome rock.

Continuing on from the north spire. Mostly scrambling and low 5th until the small pillar at the top. Went straight up the steep crack on the northern side, downclimbing the offwidth on the way back down.

A bit of a choose-your-own-adventure in terms of difficulty. Mostly 3-4th class to within 50m of the summit, then took a wide chimney with twin cracks for about 25m, finding two easily retrieved nuts on the way!

Hiked up from the valley, climbed and descended in a single push. The climb was adventurous, however we didn't get a view due to low clouds the whole time.
