Limestone and dolomite walls of all heigths and orientations in the forest next to a campsite.

Suitable from April until October. Walls are up to 50m high and stone ranges from very solid to medium solid/fragile. You may want to bring some friends, nuts etc. You hear the street and trains.

From Žilina, drive street 64 for 10km until you reach campsite Slnečné skaly on the right side. Some sectors are located directly at the campsite or track, for some, you need to ascent via narrow hiking paths into the forest - a little slippery when wet.

The option that's relatively easy to find: Enter the camp ground, turn left, pass the huts and around the last hut, follow the path turning right up to the hill. At first crossing, turn right and follow the path (marked with green line on white ground). On first crossing, turn left and after 2 minutes you reach the sector.

Go up through the village of Stráňavy, park your car in front of the roadblock, then turn right before the roadblock and keep going down the hill (after about 50m the green hiking trail continues to the right, but you have to go straight) until you reach the water source, then go left along the stream for about 100m.
