Routes in Indonesia for selected grade

Slab.

Slab. 5b on 8a.nu. 6a on mountainproject.

Start by climbing up the mossy slab to a super fun undercling and traverse. Move into slabby terrain before going far left to follow the crack to the anchor. Lots of varied handholds. Get on this!

Slabby terrain with balancy moves near the anchor. The lower half is covered by moss during rainy season.

The route is intended for beginner to intermediate level.

You can practice boulder movements here on the flat wall.

First route on Bongkok. Climbed by Trupala 1987 in Expedition style. In 1988 bolted by Inno, Udin and Michel as a sport route. Rebolted in 2017 by the Paguyuboys.

Follows a fist sized crack on slabby terrain with lots of laybacking.

A harder start onto the slab. With smaller hand/foot holds later on.

Additional protection recommended.

There is a big hole you can use kneebar. Video.

Crux is at the 5th bolt.

Follow the offwidth crack into the face.

Single bolt anchor. Check if maillon is still on the bolt. Potential loose block in the middle of the route.

Almost vertical route. Location: From Brandal walk down the trail until you see a big crack with a tree growing inside it. The route is left to Pancasila, the route with a roof. Climbing down to clean the route.

The first sport route you will see after you walk from the parking lot. Start under the first bolt with big jugs and climb straight up the face. Location: Walk for 5 minutes from the parking lot. Right-hand side with a small flat-ish area for belaying. The is a tree growing in the middle of the face. Down climbing for cleaning the route.

Its a long version of "Merah-Putih" route. A stable 6a+ moves with 2 bolts more with a bit of tranversing to the right (a reachy v2/v3 move). A good warm-up before trying "Limitless". Not recommended to use as tope-rope.

The middle route on Block A. Start from the huecos on a small overhang section. Pass the first bolt and climb all the way up to the anchor.

No plaque. Fun pumpy route.

Short dirty route.

Start on the jug in the black streak just right of the hueco. Follow the arrete to a large pocket and top out by reaching up for the ledge.

Start on two obvious lower pockets to a gaston and top out right under the bush.

Start on the blackish hueco to reach a side pull and traverse to the left. Finish up on a smaller hueco under the bush. Right side of Wealthy White Whales.

Climb up the very end of the outcrop on the seaward face from the wave washed boulders. About the most solid of all the routes here.
