Ascents in Taiwan as Flash

The hardest 5.10a I have ever climbed! Slopers the whole way, very sustained climbing. I used the crack on the left side between the 4th and the 5th bolt as I can't negotiate through the blank face.

Only using the left chimney part below the third bolt is super fun. It will be about 10b, and crack climbing skill may be required.

Well protected at the crux.

First bolt is a bit high, and due to the ground angle, the fall gets longer. At the start there's a prickly bush right next to you. Used clip stick. Climb starts left, goes around the corner, then back onto face.

This one had a seriously strong couple moves at the start. Probably in the 5.12A range, so keep that in mind! If you can get past, the rest of the climb quite enjoyable with a challenging slab towards the end.

Great route. Is a little bit more than 11a.

It was my first sandstone climb and I was not used to it! It’s supposed to be a simple face climb but I got so scared I even had to take off my shoes because I was on the route for too long oh my god on a 5.9! But it was fun!
