Description

Brand new sector (2021/22), just right of 'Echoes' and 'Koridor'. Great variety of styles, angles and grades. Some routes are still quite sharp and need more traffic, but the rock quality is very good and the bolting very encouraging.

Although south-facing, the belay area and the lower parts of many routes are sheltered by rocks and trees, such that climbing is possible even on sunnier days.

Access issues inherited from Geyikbayırı

Access is easy, by car or minibus, via a single paved road. Depending on where you stay furthest access is about a 30 minute walk.

Approach

Going from Echoes towards Koridor, go right past the via ferrata and follow the cairns for a couple of minutes until you reach the rightmost part of Top Alani.

Ethic inherited from Geyikbayırı

There are no restrictions aside from respecting the environment as the local government has been very tolerant and we don't want that to change. All bolting is stainless steel and not more than 10 years old. Between 20 to 30 new routes are opened every year and visitors are welcome to contribute to that with local advice.
