Supporting Adrian on the FFA of this 20 year old Fitz Cahall project. We climbed the first five pitches to the crux on October 5 with Adrian leading everything and both of us freeing every pitch. The climbing turned out to be way harder and more scary/dangerous/loose than either of us had expected so this took more time and energy than expected. Adrian tried the crux pitch unsuccessfully and I had a go on TR (also unsuccessful lol) and we summited then rapped. The next day (October 6) we hiked up and soloed the West Ridge to access the top crux pitch. Adrian sent second go after we jammed to Gold Lion by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs which was a pretty unreal moment in my life and climbing. Supporting your friends on things that mean a lot to them has got to be one of the coolest things you can do.

Choose your own adventure up to the big pillar. Three obvious 5.8ish pitches - one hand crack and then two right facing corners. After that, sticking to the ridge or else slightly climbers right of it (easier) results in scrambling or low fifth to the summit. Just below the summit block, trend left to wrap around the back of the mountain to hit the summit.

Quite a bit of a sandbag at 5.9 (per Cascade Rock guidebook). Link P1/2, 3/4. One of the pitches has a super fun "squeeze" that I barely got through, can't imagine what other people do at this point. P5 offwidth was a bit of an epic. 22 mile hike for 6 pitches...

Full on semi-burly alpine adventure, especially if your biggest cam was a new #5 camalot and you did it car-to-car on 90 minutes of sleep

A veritable alpine adventure with a few pitches of excellent alpine trad and a whole lot of beautiful hiking and scrambling
