Description

Popular basalt cliffs near Denver, ranging in height from 20-80 feet, providing trad and sports climbing. Mostly well bolted and is great to climb on a sunny afternoon in winter.

Access issues

Golden cliff is located above a residential area. Watch for the speed limit and walking pedestrians. There are two parking lots and the main parking lot provide a bathroom.

Approach

North of Golden and the Coors Brewery, and it is accessed from Highway 58 from Denver or Highway 93 from Boulder.

Where to stay

No camping and overnight parking allowed.

Ethic

No mountain biking and hikers yield to climbers. Respect the local homeowners and other climbers.
