Routes in Tasmania for selected grade

Straight up centre of slab, 2m R of 'Twilight Groping'. 5 UBs to chains.

Start with 2 bolts of 'Weetbix' traverse L then climb diagonally towards the anchor of 'Don't Buy a Cheap Ryobi'

Short easy climb, great for beginners or first time leaders. 3 UBs to DUBB.

Discontinued due to chossy death risk.

Starts as for Chancellor in the big right facing corner between Chancellor Direct and Carpe Diem.

1. 14m. Up Chancellor to a stance.

2. 24m. Climb to the base of the long chimney directly above. Gain the chimney directly via a 5m double crack, then continue up to the large chockstone.

3. 18m. Climb out around the chockstones and up the final corner crack.

Starts 16m downhill of Fiddlesticks at the obvious body chimney in a shallow corner.

In the recess just R of Cossack Column there is a large black chimney with a large chockstone 20m up. Scramble up 12m to the base of the chimney.

1. 20m Up the chimney on the R to belay on a chockstone.

2. 30m Continue up and belay on a large, grassy ledge.

3. 12m Scramble up to the top

The obvious chimney. Most people belay on spacious ledge above the huge chockstone.

The prominent 12m spire that casts a spell on climbers and entices them over. There are several ways to the top. Rap station. Unknown, Sept. 1961.

Brilliant fun little chimney - stay near the entrance. First ok nut placement is 12m up, so top-roping is recommended

Start below the arête 4m L of a mossy corner and climb to its R to an old carrot bolt runner near the top.

The chimney crack 7m L of White Nile. Straight up the crack.

The left slanting diagonal off-width.

Up the corner behind the left hand side of main face. Lots of large loose blocks and a small amount (3-4) good gear placements to rap chains

Starts on rounded holds and follows the crack up the the less-then-vertical face. Possible to top-rope, great for practising nut placement.

L of The Hatcher Slot, follow the arete past 4 BRs.

Takes the corner direct to bolt belay.

To the L of BM. Starts L of the buttress up trending R to the middle then comes back into line.

the face left of Exit, only slightly harder

Just around the corner from previous climb.

Rappel into the chimney chasm furthest point climbers left on the ramp.

The wide corner/chimney left of Bridge Over Troubled Water.

Line of U’s up easy slabs, solid rock good confidence climbing for the kids, can easily top out so use as an access climb if required

RIght hand slab.

Up nose of the downhill buttress, being careful of loose flakes. Scramble to top and around back or carefully down-climb the side.

The loose and dirty chimney on buttress left of Anzac Day.

Start on left side of buttress, trend right around it and then follow crack to top of Tim's excuses for DBB. Half-ropes useful.

The smooth arching corner crack. Nice route for a beginner. Big gear not needed.

Takes the face up the RHS of the buttress.

Wide crack on front of buttress. Careful of flakes on right.

Cracks / face to top. Walk-off.

The loose, mossy chimney right of Directissimo Man.

Hand crack above Sundy Mockry.

Short crack in LHS of gully.

Short orange corner crack.

Dirty corner crack in LHS of gully.
