Ascents in Silver City

Attempted a left hand variant of this climb. Not clear if it has been tried before. Had to bail since it was dangerously runout after 10m of traversing. Next time will bring a no. 5 or 6 BD cam to plug in the high horizontal crack.

Will leave this ungraded for those who want a pure onsight adventure.

Lead exclusively on trad gear. Bolts should be removed. This has potential for a excellent moderate trad route in bow valley. Nice trad routes like this a rare occurrence around here why waste one of the rarely well protected trad climbs with bolts?

The best looking 11a of the 3. Pretty desperate low down at the crux. This route deserves more action which would hopefully see it clean up a bit too. Was happy to get the onsight on this one.

With Bec, lots of side pulls.

With Bec - this might have been the first 5.9 I climbed in my approach shoes. I thought it was another 5.8 haha. Lots of side pulls again.

Fantastic route. Missing second last bolt so quite run out for a bit.

Great crux moves on slightly overhanging wall. Good fun.
