A fantastic outing on a superb face. Continuous corners offering classy climbing and good gear. We felt the crux was dealing with the steep slab above the chimney on pitch 7. The climbing was steep and the rock rather precarious. In fact there were 2 pillars of rock about 60cm high by 20cm wide which I found out were merely balancing because as soon as I touched one, it slid off the slab and fell to the bottom of the face 200m below. Thankfully our ropes were ok. I managed to climb through this section without touching the other pillar and Nolan didn't feel comfortable cleaning it off as he came through so it remains there for the next party. Beware! Definitely felt the upper pitches were more serious in general.

We lead in blocks with Nolan leading pitches 1-3, me 4 & 5 and then swung leads from there. A great day out. About 10 hours on the route.
