上山后沿主路走，注意路中间的竹林旁边的一根铁杆，铁杆右侧有小路穿过竹林，到达岩壁。如果你看到了坟墓，那你走太远了。

每年春季是昆明的森林防火期，在此期间请大家尽量减少前往西山岩区攀岩，严禁烟火，为我们的攀岩社区创造更文明和谐的环境。根据《昆明市森林防火规定》每年十二月一日起至翌年五月三十一日止为全市森林防火期。三月一日起至四月三十日止为森林防火戒严期。原则上在这个时间内请勿到西山岩区进行任何攀岩活动。因此请避免任何可能引起火灾的行为，例如吸烟，烧烤，使用明火等！否则你将会面临极为严重的法律后果，同时破坏云南地区政府对攀岩活动的态度。
注意环境保护，遵守LNT原则，带走垃圾，文明上厕所（西山岩区现在还没有开发出厕所区域，请远离岩壁解手）。
History
Developed in 2016 2016年2月20日，经过前期侦查，昆明一票老岩棍黑聚西山猫头鹰岩，再次开路修整。18条高质量的路线让这个昆明较早的岩区重新焕发，使其成为了继富民之后又一热门岩区。
