Din poteca turistica ce strabate cheile (pornire de la Centrul de vizitare), inainte de a ajunge la faleza de escalada Wagner, cotim stanga in padure, pe langa o mare panta de grohotis. Poteca nu este vizibila, asa ca urcam la intamplare, pe unde panta este mai domoala. Turnul nu este vizibil de aici din cauza copacilor, dar poate fi observat din dreptul falezei Wagner. Urcam pana ajungem pe un valcel mai abrupt, marginit in drepata de Turnul Porumbeilor.
