Summary

Sport climbing at bottom of Mascarat Gorge. Nice and coarse wall offers some easier routes, which have been recently re-equiped with new bolts and anchors, all the sector has been cleaned.

Description

Second pitch has been added to some of the routes as well. Shady in early morning, than hot and sunny till late afternoon.

Approach

Can be accessed by small and easy hike by the bottom of canyon 'Mascarat Gorge'. Follow the turistic signs to enter the canyon, then walk up north till the old bridge appears. Second possibility of acces is aproaching from the top - abseil from the ledge leading to the Mascarat Bridge and other multipitch climbing routes. Also for leaving the sector is possible climb two pitches of some of the routes (eg. by La Tourista/Sister Moon as easy option).

  • Limestone is soft – please, clean your shoes off dirt before climbing.
  • Use your own gear for top-rope set-ups.
  • Brush the line and remove all tick marks and chalk excess.
  • Pick up rubbish, cigarette butts, and your toilet paper.
  • Park considerately and don't block essential laybys or farm access.

Left route which goes through the small hollow, then trend to the right. Shared anchor with Marica el ultima.

Nice climb full of small holes between the two bigger hoillows.

Looks harder than the real climb. Climb up through the small cave and up.

Old school "poor" line will take you higher than you think.

new, long and beautiful line tending left. little overhangs are compensated by good holds. pure joy!
